"If this were a Republican, it would be leading every news channel.” 

Those were the words of podcaster extraordinaire Megyn Kelly as she blasted the left-wing media for ignoring reports that Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff allegedly "forcefully slapped" a former girlfriend for "flirting with another man."

Emhoff allegedly hit the woman in the face so hard that she spun around while waiting in a valet line after a May 2012 Cannes Film Festival event in France. His representative denied the allegations Thursday. 

Kelly began by taking a well-deserved shot at former Biden White House press secretary and now MSNBC host Jen Psaki, who recently praised Emhoff because, she gushed, he "reshaped" masculinity.

Do you remember this Jen Psaki clip that we showed you just a couple of days ago, and we mocked her for her ridiculous, lapdog, boot-licking performance when she had this guy, knowing that he had cheated on his first wife before Kamala Harris with his child's nanny? 

Look, people have marital problems, and they make bad decisions when they're married to people that they don't love. However, banging your child's nanny, and impregnating her, is in a special league of its own.

This so-called always supporter of women actually smacked an ex-girlfriend in the face. Either a smack or a punch; it was unclear to the Daily Mail's exclusive reporting. 

"Most of us would have left it alone if he hadn’t then paraded himself out there and let the media parade himself out there like he was the ideal husband on steroids,” Kelly said, or “like he is the new version of what it means to be a real man.”

Kelly was visibly disgusted as she asked:

What happened there? Any enterprising media would want to know the answer if this were somebody with a last name Trump or Vance.

The former Fox News and "Today" host lauded Daily Mail for “actually looking into these stories that other people think are too beneath them to check out,” sarcastically adding that “‘respectable news outlets wasted no time reporting on Stormy Daniels and whether she said Donald Trump wore a condom.”

Daily Mail's extensive report on the allegations against Emhoff was made even more credible by details and accounts by a number of friends of the unnamed former girlfriend, who the outlet referred to by the pseudonym "Jane."

One of her friends told DailyMail.com that the woman called him immediately after the incident, sobbing in her cab, and described the alleged assault.

A second friend said Jane, who had been dating Emhoff for three months, also told her about the alleged violence at the time.

A third friend told DailyMail.com that Jane first told her in 2014 that she had dated Emhoff, and recounted the full story of his alleged abuse in 2018, when then-senator Harris was in the news after grilling Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in a Senate hearing over sexual assault allegations.

Got hypocrisy, Kamala? The question is rhetorical, of course.

Daily Mail also reported that Emhoff cheated on his first wife and the mother of his two kids around 2008, allegedly impregnating his daughter's nanny, who also worked as her grade school teacher. Emhoff admitted the affair with the nanny and teacher after the outlet published the story in September. 

Democrat hypocrisy. It's the best.
