The Biden administration is helping Tajikistan secure a portion of its border with Afghanistan to combat security threats, as the Biden Border Crisis™ continues, unabated, with thousands of illegal aliens — many of whom might be COVID-positive — continuing to stream into America on a daily basis. Shocked? Me, neither.

As Fox News reported, the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe has launched a project to construct new facilities for a Border Service detachment along the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border, allowing Tajikistan’s border troops to deploy more quickly in response to threats in the region, the embassy said in a press release Wednesday.
Ambassador John Pommersheim said in the statement:
The United States and Tajikistan enjoy strong security cooperation, and this border detachment project is just another example of our shared commitment to the security and sovereignty of Tajikistan and Central Asia.
Priorities, America, priorities.
As is usually the case with government projects, the project will not break ground until “early 2022.”
Incidentally, the U.S. government (U.S. taxpayers) has provided more than $300 million in border-related security assistance to Tajikistan since 2002, according to the press release.

Meanwhile, Illegal Aliens
As noted by Fox, a group of 26 Republican senators, led by Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas — a potential 2024 presidential candidate — fired off a letter on Thursday demanding Biden explain the vetting process for the thousands of evacuees being admitted into the U.S. in the aftermath of the disastrous military withdrawal from Afghanistan.
What steps did your administration take to verify the identities of these individuals before evacuation?
What steps are your administration taking to ensure that individuals are thoroughly vetted and their identities verified before entering the United States?
I trust that Cotton & Co. did not begin holding their breath upon dispensing the letter, although I got this one. The answer is zero. As has been the case with every part of this Biden cluster, would any sane person assume that these politically expedient fools would give a damn about anything other than their objective?
Meanwhile, on the Southern Border
Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens continue to pour into the U.S. every month — which should shock zero people, given that Biden all but pledged during the 2020 presidential campaign to install one-way, northbound people-movers along the Mexican border and hire mariachi bands to welcome illegal aliens as they flow into this the U.S. —virtually unabated.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced in mid-August that 212,672 migrants were encountered at the southern border in July, a 13-percent increase over the already massive 188,000 migrant encounters in June. By comparison, in July 2020 — during the Trump presidency — there were just 40,929 encounters with illegals.
During an appearance on Fox News on Thursday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich raised red flags over terrorism concerns at the southern border, again calling on the Biden administration to enforce existing immigration laws.
“Make no doubt about it, people that mean America harm are crossing the southern border,” Brnovich, who is leading a coalition of 16 states to stop the administration’s so-called “Interim Guidance,” told Fox. In a Tuesday press release, the governors said Biden’s irresponsible action “dramatically halts nearly all deportations and immigration-related arrests, including for those convicted of dangerous aggravated felonies.”

Again, America, priorities.
While they will never admit it, Biden and the Democrats don’t give a damn about “immigration-related arrests,” “aggravated felonies,” and all such “nonsense” — in the important scheme of things, that is. In contrast to importing as many future Democrat voters as they can get away with, that is.
Meanwhile, Tajikistan lives matter. Go figure.
