The last time I went after MNSBC’s Trump-loathing host Nicolle Wallace — her Orwellian suggestion that Republicans “must assert the truth before they’re allowed to share any other views” — she tweeted the link to my article, and mumbled something not-nice about me, “conservatives,” and “liars.” Welp, there she went again, and here I go again.
As House managers laid out their case in the impeachment trial on Wednesday, they showed never-before-seen video of rioters inside the Capitol, some of which was more disturbing than any video of the riot I had previously seen.
One such video showed Vice President Mike Pence being rushed by Secret Service agents down a staircase as rioters neared. Stacey Plaskett, a Democratic delegate from the Virgin Islands and one of the House impeachment managers, told senators:
“They were within 100 feet of where the vice president was sheltering with his family, and they were just feet away from the doors of this chamber where many of you remained at that time.”
In another video, the crowd could be heard chanting “Hang Mike Pence! Hang Mike Pence!” Outside the Capitol, where makeshift gallows had been set up, others called out: “Bring out Pence!” One rioter taped a video, in which he said: “He’s a total treasonous pig!”, as reported by The New York Times.
Regardless of who was responsible for what, there were frightening moments inside the Capitol — at the hands of a mob intent on disrupting the conducting of a democratic process by a joint session of Congress. To deny that is to deny reality.
Note: I’m not assigning blame; I’m merely suggesting that one can condemn the reality of what happened inside the U.S. Capitol without making an unsubstantiated politically-predisposed pronouncement of intent or sinister motive.
Truly remarkable footage of Vice President Pence and his family being escorted out of the Senate chamber. President Trump was back at the White House, continuing to trash Pence, according to multiple people. pic.twitter.com/Vr3c5EBwTR

Needless to say, the Trump Derangement Syndrome media is eagerly salivating over the impeachment trial like Michael Moore standing in line at an all-you-can-eat steak and lobster buffet. Also needless to say, Nicolle Wallace busted out one of her patented hyperbolic blatherings, this time about Pence being ushered by Secret Service agents.
“I think the only question is, um, what will be done. This was a president who summoned a mob to kill his vice president. And we will rack that video and show it to you again in a moment.
“But whatever you think of Republicans and Democrats, the vice president of the United States’ life was in danger.
“And in a presentation so precise, and so haunting, the rioters and the insurrectionists who to, quote them, ‘Hang Mike Pence’ were alarmingly close to him.”
Got hyperbole, Nicolle?
“What will be done? This was a President who summoned a mob to kill his Vice President,” says Nicolle Wallace.

Piece of work, isn’t she? Ronald Reagan famously said of the left: “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they’re ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”
Yes, the attack on the U.S. Capitol was unconscionable and inexcusable. Yes, people died. Yes, those who were responsible deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. And just for the sake of argument, let’s assume Trump’s repeated “Stop the Steal” rhetoric and unconstitutional admonishment of Mike Pence, followed by Pence’s refusal, were at least partially responsible for the storming of the Capitol.
Assuming all of the above is true, how does one connect the dots to categorically declare that Trump “summoned a mob to kill his vice president”? What proof does Nicolle Wallace have to make that statement? The question is rhetorical and the answer is she doesn’t. Wallace had zero proof to make such an outlandish, unfounded claim.
This Twitter user summed up the feelings of tens of millions of conservatives across the country, but his tweet needed a tweak.
“Just when I thought we’d reached the lowest bar possible in the TDS-afflicted media propaganda insanity, MSNBC brings us into Dante’s ninth layer of hell.”
There, I fixed it.

This guy paraphrased a line from Joseph Goebbels, minister of propaganda for the German Third Reich under Adolf Hitler, who infamously said: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”
You know the MO of the left: just keep lying and do it often enough that it becomes the truth.

And there you have it.
The mantra of the liberal media sock puppets who have told lie after lie about Donald Trump for more than four years. The storming of the Capitol was inexcusable. The statement by Nicolle Wallace was reprehensible. Surprised? Me neither.
