On today’s episode of “Left-Wing Life Imitating Art” (See: George Orwell’s “1984”), one of PMSNBC’s myriad of Trump-loathing hosts, Nicolle Wallace on Wednesday called for a national policy by which conservatives would be required to “assert the truth” before being “allowed” to “share any other views” on social media — or anywhere else, presumably.
This is the Left’s latest crack down mindset on information and free expression. https://t.co/RPjEDtxWFL

Wallace’s brazen “demand” is as profound as it is insane.
Whose truth? Wallace’s “truth”? PMSNBC’s “truth”? And her condescending reference to “other views” — as if views shared by conservatives are everything but truth; that they are simply “opinions,” vs. the “truth” of the Left. Nah, that doesn’t sound like Big Brother at all.
As reported by NewsBusters, Wallace hooked up with former Obama officials Ben Rhodes and John Brennan Wallace, and former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) to declare it will take “years” for a “detox” of “lies” and “hate” from the right and “libertarians” with the resources of federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
.@NicolleDWallace calls for the permanent expulsion and punishment for any and all forms of conservative media that run counter to her political views. She says Republicans should be BANNED from speaking unless they first speak “the truth.”

First on the docket was Brennan, the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency whose acidic hatred of all-things Donald Trump is legendary. Brennan hypocritically whined about a “growth in polarization”— which he “shockingly” blamed on right.
As a result, Brennan said, Biden officials “are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements we have seen overseas,” consisting “of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, and even libertarians.”
Such a pleasant fellow, isn’t he?
Wallace being Wallace, she was all over it.
“[A]nd unfortunately I think there has been this momentum that has been generated as a result of, unfortunately, the demagogue of rhetoric of people that just departed government, but also those who continue in the halls of Congress.
“And so, I really do think that the law enforcement, homeland security, intelligence, and even the defense officials are doing everything possible to root out what seems to be a very, very serious and insidious threat to our democracy in our republic.”
As reported by NewsBusters, McCaskill lamented that the Biden administration will have a“major challenge” with “deprogramming” people who disagree with them, as well as “Republicans that served in the building we watched all day went along with the lies.”
Rhodes then jumped into the mix with the quality entertainment we’ve grown to know and “love” from this clown about how hard it’s going to be for the Biden administration to “detox” a “whole segment of the population.”
“[I]t’s going to take many years to detox the disinformation, the lies, the hate that has been spread. A whole segment of the American population has been radicalized over what’s happened the last four years, and by the fact that Donald Trump is no longer there, they can no longer see Donald Trump representing their grievances in the highest offices, and so those grievances will go back underground.
“And I think there’s a lot of work to be done to — to deal with the broader societal issues that go beyond even what national security/homeland security officials can do.”
Keep in mind, John Brennan and court jester Ben Rhodes are among the more acerbic characters to come out of the Obama administration. So naturally, he wondered aloud whether or not the Republican Party “can finally stand up and tell the truth,” post-Trump.
Then came Wallace’s money-shot.
“Let me start with your last point. It would be my policy that a Republican must assert the truth before they’re allowed to share any other views. […] I want to read you something from Tom Friedman wrote about social media companies. He wrote this:
‘Mark Zuckerberg and Sharyl Sandberg have to surprise us by, once and for all, stopping the elevation for profit of news that divides and enrages over more authoritative evenhanded news sources.’
“That does not seem out of reach. If we can protect against counterfeit dollar bills, we should be able to protect against fake news we now know has the potential to kill people as it did two weeks ago.
NewsBusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck called the discussion between Wallace and Rhodes “disgusting.”
“This is disgusting. Under the guise of wiping out QAnon and insurrectionists, MSNBC’s Ben Rhodes and Nicolle Wallace are demanding for the shaming and removal of conservative media and that Americans on the right should be banned from speaking unless they speak ‘truth.'”
I’ve said this before — because it can be said about virtually every leftist — the hypocrisy of Wallace and Rhodes is equaled only by their complete lack of self-awareness. These clowns lie for a living. They are elitist demagogues who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in the — yeah.

As I close up shop on this piece, I have to leave you with the punchline of the segment. I suggest that you don’t take a drink before you read it, lest you spit your drink all over your screen. Rhodes actually had the sack to lament about “how close we came [during the storming of the Capitol] to losing this precious democracy.”
Is that mind-blowingly hilarious, or what? These three stooges were advocating for government truth panels in front of which Republicans must “assert” the “truths” of the Left. And if they do, then they will be “allowed” to share their “any other views.”
That’s got “democracy” written all over it, huh? #SMH
Here’s a longer chunk of the segment.
Here’s more on Rhodes and Brennan from my RedState colleague Nick Arama.
In related news, check out my earlier post. Glenn Greenwood, IMHO, is not only the best investigative journalist in the business; he does not allow his political views to get in the way of honest reporting. Imagine that.
