The Democrat Party's silence about violent extremism in its party is damning. And when it comes to Islamo-communist streamer Hasan Piker, that silence is growing by the day.
Hasan Piker cannot cross a "red line" as far as radical Democrats are concerned. It's as if the old bromide that there can be "no enemies too far to the left" is on full display with modern Democrats.
And that should have Americans extremely concerned. Because the left's hypocrisy is not a bug, but a feature. It's a power play, meant to be a "humiliation" ritual.
It was not too long ago when Americans could be "cancelled" for saying the wrong things about the transgender movement. They were forbidden to voice their opinions about vaccine adverse effects. And told not to say critical things about funding Ukraine. And forget about objecting to the 2020 election — that was the Most Secure Election in the History of Elections™.
But there is nothing off-limits for Hasan Piker. He can imply that Trump should die. Advocate for conservatives being murdered. Hang a poster of 9/11 on his wall. Throw in lot with Islamist terrorists.
And there are no consequences for him. Indeed, the left-wing keeps astro-turfing his violent rhetoric, and he is getting rich. Filthy rich.
Piker, a nepo baby, wears four-figure designer clothing, owns a $3 million Los Angeles home and drives a $200,000 Porsche.
While Sanders and Warren brush past their wealth, Piker makes it impossible to miss — all while streaming live on Twitch to preach that the rich and capitalists are the enemy.
His obsession with luxury goods is just as gaudy as President Donald Trump's obsession with gold. The difference is Trump doesn't claim excess capital is inherently immoral.
Not bad work for a "socialist," if you can get it. The point is that the American left luxuriates in hypocrisy. It's their favorite drug.
It also reveals that they don't care about the truth. The only thing that unites them is their lust for power.
House Dem. Jamie Raskin, a Trump-deranged, impeachment-obsessed, red diaper baby was asked point-blank about Hasan Piker. His response speaks volumes.
Jamie Raskin won't condemn Hasan Piker even after being shown a clip of Piker saying he would vote for terrorists "every single time."

NBC: “Is the Democratic Party tent big enough to include Hasan Piker?”
RASKIN: “I think all of that is an irrelevant distraction.” pic.twitter.com/zLYnHuhZQz
Raskin is first shown an April 12 clip from Pod Save America. Piker is asked about his prior comment that “Hamas is a thousand times better than a fascist settler colonial apartheid state.”
Piker stands by it and says: “I’ve also said I’m a harm-reduction voter. I’m a lesser evil voter and therefore I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time…”
“Is the Democratic Party tent big enough to include Hasan Piker?” Welker asks.
“I think all of that is an irrelevant distraction," Raskin replies.
This is the same Congressman who gave us a hoax impeachment against Donald Trump. Twice.
This is also the same deflection that was trotted out by Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who has been photographed being cozy with Piker and has refused to distance himself
During a recent appearance Friday on MS NOW’s “The Moment,” El-Sayed tried repeatedly to steer the conversation away from Piker.
“This campaign is not about a streamer in California,” El-Sayed said. “This campaign is about affordability in Michigan. This campaign is about the ability to have healthcare.”
In what was an otherwise softball interview on Friday, MS NOW host Katy Tur asked Democratic Michigan Senate Candidate Abdul El-Sayed about his connections to far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker.

El-Sayed dodged the question and said, “If folks want to make this about a… pic.twitter.com/EfY4TySiVY
This is not going to cut it. That's because this guilt-by-association was virtually invented by Democrats.
Why is it that the American left freaked out when Nick Fuentes showed unannounced at Mar-a-Lago, but asking El-Sayed about his relationship with a Twitch streamer who indulges in politically violent language is off-limits?
The Woke left invented cancel culture. So, what is it really about? Imposing its social justice worldview onto Americans? Or simply creating double standards for its political opposition?
Obviously, it is the latter. If there were any moral compass in the Democrat Party, it would simply disavow Piker and condemn his language.
The American left refuses to do that. Is it for the same reason that Hollywood won't film movies that portray Joseph Stalin as a villain? Or Chairman Mao? Or Fidel Castro?
Because the few films that Hollywood has produced that vilify communists take a very sparing approach and pale in the number produced on Nazis and racists.
The bottom line is that there isn't an ethical bit of difference between these collectivist belief-systems, which drive people to impose their worldviews on others against their will.
Holding up the choice between communism and fascism is like asking people to choose their favorite flavor of "ice cream."
You can choose chocolate or vanilla. They're both evil. The only real difference is the form of propaganda.
That's really the meaning behind the media continuing to shove this lefty menace with a microphone into our faces. They are trying to normalize communism and political violence.
Meanwhile, conservatives don't even dare to advocate for political violence, nor should they. They would not only be canceled, they would be driven to the ends of the earth.
It's also very similar to our two-tiered justice system, left-wing institutions' enforcement of DEI while telling people that whites are implicitly racist, allowing males to invade girls' sports while feigning to champion "women's rights," and jet-setting around the globe to lecture people about the "climate crisis."
They know they are lying, they know that we know they are lying, and yet they persist in lying, to paraphrase a line often misattributed to Solzhenitsyn.
This is because lying demonstrates that their power is not based on us believing them. Their power is based on their control of our institutions, including our mass media. They do not benefit from us knowing the truth but from us arguing about the truth.
Thus, this double-standard is meant to be a "humiliation ritual." But it's not humiliating Americans, it's showing them how ugly and dangerous the Democrat Party has become.
If the American left can't cancel communist dictators who have killed tens of millions of people, who will it cancel? Hasan Piker? Don't make me laugh.
