WNBA Released Politically Charged Statement After Former NBA Player Declares for Draft

You won't be able to call the WNBA the "Women's National Basketball Association" for much longer.

That's because the Woke NBA will either have to accept males in the league or drop its absurd transgender athletes policy. But it's not going to do that quietly, judging by its politically charged statement.

It all started when Enes Kanter Freedom called the WNBA's bluff.

After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines,
I’m officially declaring myself a @WNBA prospect.

If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.

The former NBA player's statement caught fire on X:

After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines, I’m officially declaring myself a @WNBA prospect.
If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA.
My team and I have carefully examined the WNBA’s eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self-identification and inclusion. Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WNBA draft in April 2027.
I know my presence on the court will stir up strong opinions. I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or disrespect any community or personal choices.
I’m simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone — the rules that represent the very values many WNBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for.
My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally, consistently, and without exception, and I look forward to the #WNBA honoring its stated principles.

The WNBPA's statement via ESPN:

The WNBPA represents 200+ individual people with different lived experiences, cultures, lifestyles and opinions. We embrace justice, ‌equity, diversity, and inclusion. Those are the values that unite this Union and allow it to protect women’s sports while creating transformational change. Hate, abuse, and demonization of any person or group of people, including transgender people, only fuel fear, division, and harm.
We will continue to have hard conversations. But we will not ‌be used as political pawns.

"Diversity" has nothing to do with it. This statement is coming out because the Woke executives are acutely aware that Americans are not tolerating their unwillingness to protect women's sports.

Just because someone says he has decided to be a female, that doesn't mean that person has stopped having athletic advantages.

Ever notice that so-called "trans" athletes almost universally play in women's sports?

There is a reason for that. It's called "nature."

The WNBA is big mad because people are rejecting its "fake reality."

This comes after weeks of controversy following WNBA player Sophie Cunningham throwing down the gauntlet on the matter.

In an interview with ESPN, she said the following:

"I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that.' I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."
"I'm very much in the middle. I agree with things on both sides, disagree with things on both sides. And that's all I've ever said about my political beliefs. But people love to assume."

But they couldn't leave Sophie Cunningham alone. Nope, the reaction was over-the-top because the left knows it has an indefensible position.

Enes Freedom Kanter just exposed that the WNBA's empresses wear no clothes. And unlike the Woke activists, Americans can tell who is a male and who is a female.
