One video posted included Vance's daughter Mirabel handing out butter, and as the vice president put it, taking "her job very seriously," when one of the people walking by appeared to want to skip the dairy product.

"She's insisted that you take the butter. She takes her job very seriously," Vance can be overheard stating.

Vance and his family finished serving the troops and later joined them to enjoy the Thanksgiving feast and goodies.

Later, he's scheduled to give remarks to the service members from the Fort Campbell airfield in Kentucky, as the base straddles the state line.

The vice president and second lady sent a great message to their kids and others about the importance of service and recognizing the sacrifice of our military and their families to make this the greatest country that ever existed.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump pardoned two turkeys, "Gobble" and "Waddle," ahead of the holiday as he reminded Americans that Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks to God for all our blessings.

"We thank God for his many blessings and the great success that this country has seen in this short period of time," Trump said. "We draw strength from the love of family and friends, and we express our undying gratitude for the men and the women of the United States armed forces."

"We love them," he added. "We pray that peace & prosperity will continue to bless our land, and together we will really just keep this great drive going to make America great again. MAGA. It's the greatest expression in the history of politics."

Amen!
