In my neighborhood, the garbage is picked up on Monday. I am hoping America’s garbage is picked up on Tuesday. What do I mean by that? I mean it in a metaphorical sense. I am tired of the media’s constant lying and conflating and lying some more.
Case in point – The Independent is a leftist rag. It is constantly posting slanted storylines, and I get story scrolls on my browser. A story from The Independent popped up Friday. The photo shows Jennifer Lopez with her arm raised and Harris crackling about something. I tweeted this:
Jennifer Lopez does a sig heil at Harris event. Harris supports Hitler, and laughs about it... or something. Right? That the way this works right?

You really can't media enough. pic.twitter.com/9U2cKXrIIp
Forgive the missing words. I meant to tweet, "You really can't hate the media enough."
The Trump Campaign didn’t make the “garbage” joke. It was a comedian. Much like me making a written joke or drawing a cartoon – they are my thoughts, not necessarily those of Salem.
Trump’s Campaign didn’t make the joke, but Harris’ willing media lapdogs continue to lie about it. Trump said that he had no idea who the comedian was. He said he didn’t like the comment and disavowed what the man said, but we are still talking about it a week later. Why? Because Harris' campaign is hot garbage.
The positive about media outlets lying is that their lies — and Harris lying — don't seem to have any effect on people voting. No one was on the fence waiting for a Puerto Rico comment. Lopez and Rita Moreno denouncing what a comic said isn’t moving the needle. Moreno won an Oscar for her character saying she wanted Puerto Rico to "slip back into the ocean."
It’s all theater. But what is remarkable is that the left thought they had a winning dig.
Then Joey Mumbles stuffed his entire foot in his mouth, calling Trump supporters garbage. The White House tried to walk it back. It illegally changed a government document to fit the narrative – and added a magical mystery apostrophe. All that did was make them all a laughingstock. Everyone (including the willing leg-humpers and willing media liars) knew that they were spinning a BS story.
Trump’s team went into overdrive to embarrass and turn the garbage into gold. Trump stepped up into a garbage truck and threw on an orange vest.
My buddy Mike Miller wrote:
The funniest part is that while most of their gaffes have been made in boneheaded attempts to slam Donald Trump and his supporters, those attempts boomerang bigly and end up hurting the Harris-Walz ticket. The second funniest part is that either the White House or the Harris-Walz campaign (often both) make things even worse by trying to minimize or bury the idiotic gaffe of the day.
In the latest example, Biden called Trump supporters "garbage," a timely reminder of Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables" shot during the 2016 presidential campaign. In an ill-advised reference to a comedian who spoke at Trump's remarkable Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday night, the cognitively vacant president said:
Donald Trump has no character. He doesn't give a damn about the Latino community…just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage? … The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.
Biden is a human carrot. He might have done that on purpose, but I don't think he is bright enough. His brain is just a pile of garbage. I think there is no filter in his melon, and he said exactly what he meant to say.
In any event, it turned into a golden moment for Trump. Harris’ campaign in the final weeks before the election has been nothing more than a hot mess. A burning dumpster of stupid, unforced errors. She is a terrible candidate. An awful candidate – a dumpster fire.
Remember the lie about Trump grabbing the steering wheel in "The Beast"? This time, Trump has taken the wheel in a new "Beast."
Will Trump be taking out the garbage next Tuesday?
