While Minneapolis' Operation Metro Surge may be winding down, Operation Take Back America is active nationwide and has caught in its net a major Minneapolis agitator. Operation Take Back America is a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the DOJ to target and eliminate high-level criminal illegal immigrants and their facilitators, including cartels and transnational criminal organizations.
On Thursday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche posted on X that Kyle Wagner, the self-identified anti-ICE Antifa terrorist, has been taken into custody.
The Justice Department with @ICEgov HSI arrested a self-identified anti-ICE Antifa TERRORIST in Minneapolis today. Conspire and threaten to assault, kill and doxx officers, and you’ll find yourself in federal custody facing the full force of justice. pic.twitter.com/xGvKs5IpCH

Self-identified Antifa member Kyle Wagner was arrested today on federal threat and cyberstalking charges following alleged murder and assault threats against ICE, announced United States Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon, Jr. Wagner, 37 of Minneapolis, is expected to make an initial appearance in federal court today.
“This man allegedly doxxed and called for the murder of law enforcement officers, encouraged bloodshed in the streets, and proudly claimed affiliation with the terrorist organization Antifa before going on the run,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Today’s arrest illustrates that you cannot run, you cannot hide, and you cannot evade our federal agents: if you come for law enforcement, the Trump Administration will come for you.”
“It’s no surprise that an Antifa terrorist is allegedly threatening to kill and assault federal law enforcement officers as they dutifully remove criminal threats from neighborhoods,” said Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. “After all, this is what Antifa is about, lawlessness and violence. But under the leadership of President Trump and Attorney General Bondi, there is no safe haven for terrorists and no protection from the full weight of justice.
“We know that a ‘worthless man plots evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire.’ And Wagner’s alleged actions were an attempt to spread fire into our peaceful community. That is not going to happen,” said U.S. Attorney Gorgon.
Wagner has a face that only a mother could love.
Despite the hue and cry about the drawdown of ICE agents in Minneapolis, ICE and the DOJ continue to not play around. As my colleague Mike Miller wrote, Illinois-based anti-ICE agitator Jose Ramirez, who doxed and threatened a federal agent and his child, was swept up when the FBI traced threatening phone calls and emails back to him. These people may be loud and vociferous, but from the swift manner in which they are being targeted and arrested, these brain trusts are proving they are not very smart.
Mess Around, Meet Reality. Ramirez is now enjoying the comforts of federal jail as he awaits arraignment and possible trial.
Anti-ICE Crew Is Not Happy at All About What Just Happened to Their 'Checkpoint' in Minneapolis
On January 29, after posting another video threatening ICE and ICE agents on his now-deleted social media accounts, Wagner announced he was on the run.
The self-described "Antifa" member in Minneapolis who called for "armed" men to get their "boots on the ground" to stop immigration officials has deleted his remaining social media accounts and says he's now "on the run."
Kyle Wagner, who has described himself on social media as a "master hate-baiter," posted the video after facing backlash for calling on "armed" men to attend protests to confront immigration officials. He claimed in the new video that "they’re going to silence me" and said he was "on the run." Wagner made the initial call to action following the death of Alex Pretti, who was killed by a Border Patrol agent on Saturday.
"I am basically on the run now. You know, I have safe places and I have evacuations planned out, but, the way things are going, I'm going to have to be very resourceful, and that's going to take support," Wagner said. "As I've said a million times, I am going to stay in this fight to the bitter end. I'm not gonna run away, but I will need some help."
Wagner also pulled his remaining social media accounts offline on Monday afternoon, and his Venmo being used for donations is no longer available.
Apparently, Wagner didn't run far enough or fast enough. The long arm of justice quickly snatched him up.
According to the criminal complaint, Wagner has made public and repeated threats of violence, escalating his personal opposition to ICE's Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis. In his posts on Facebook and Instagram, Wagner conspired and threatened to assault ICE agents. In Wagner's profanity-laced rants, he urged his followers to "forcibly confront, assault, impede, oppose, and resist federal officers whom he referred to as the 'gestapo' and 'murderers.'"
The complaint further alleges that on January 29, 2026, Wagner, used his Instagram account to dox a pro-ICE individual by publishing a phone number, birth month and year, and address in Oak Park, Michigan, threatening the individual. Wagner later admitted that he doxxed the victim’s parents’ house.
Wagner's case was investigated and handled by ICE Homeland Security Investigations division. An indictment with charges is pending.
