The walls are closing in on the architects of the Russia Hoax. How do we know? Because the people steeped in intelligence are using all their tools to deflect and distract.
Last week, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard declassified and dropped documents that have pinpointed former President Barack Obama, former CIA Director John Brennan, former DNI James Clapper, and former FBI Director James Comey as the masterminds behind the whole Russia, Russia, Russia! conspiracy that plagued President Donald Trump 45's first term; these men are more than a little perturbed at being exposed and potentially open to prosecution surrounding their actions.
Brennan and Clapper are doing full-court press among their legacy media allies, trashing Gabbard and claiming that President Donald Trump is siccing Gabbard on them in order to deflect from the Epstein files. Goebbels' accusation mirror is hard at work: "accuse the other of that which you are guilty." But like a dog with a bone, Gabbard is not letting this go, because there is obviously lots more meat for those hungry for real answers to consume. My colleague Katie Jerkovich broke down Gabbard's interview on Wednesday with TPUSA founder and radio host Charlie Kirk:
Gabbard discussed the recent release of documents, which she said confirms that former President Barack Obama and his national security team had direct involvement in the intelligence that led to the years-long nightmare of Russiagate during Trump's first term in office.
Kirk said critics have tried to claim her allegations contradict findings in the 2019 report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and the 2020 Senate Intelligence Committee report. He noted that those on the right aren't "contesting that Russia was trying to sow discord and chaos" in the 2016 election, something he said that's well-received and accepted.
Or that the documents dispute that Russia colluded in the 2016 presidential election, but that Obama and [then CIA Director John] Brennan actually omitted information the Russians had on Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
[...]
"This is where the critics of what we revealed are, this is where President Obama's team and Sen. [Mark] Warner [(D-VA)] and other members of Congress are going, to that exact point," Gabbard said. "They are saying, 'Hey, look. Nothing to see here. Everybody knows and agrees Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 election.' I don't disagree with that statement."
"Here's the point of distinction," she added, "that there's no credible intelligence that points to Russia or [Russian President Vladimir] Putin meddling in the 2016 election in order to try to get Donald Trump elected, period. And one of the most significant pieces of evidence that was revealed in that report we released yesterday is the fact that Russia claimed to have very damaging information, high-level DNC emails, relating specifically to Hillary Clinton's physical and mental health. And DNC leaders questioning whether or not, if elected, she would even be capable of carrying out the duties of the presidency."
Hoo Boy: Gabbard Says She Will Release Info That Refutes Obama's Russia Hoax Defense
So, not only were "The Boys" manufacturing phony intel on Trump, they were trying to keep intel hidden that alleged Hillary Clinton was falling apart and would not have been physically or mentally fit to execute the duties of the President of the United States should she have won the 2016 election. Sound familiar?

Of course, legacy media's gonna legacy media. Joseph Goebbels, Karl Marx, and Saul Alinsky tactics are standard operating procedure not just for Deep State intelligence, but for legacy media as well. Right on cue, Friday's release by NBC of an exclusive report, which cobbles together anonymous sources and other loyalists from Team Obama, dropped.
Exclusive: The former senior CIA officer who helped oversee the 2017 intelligence assessment on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election says DNI Tulsi Gabbard and the White House are “lying” when they claim that it was an attempt to sabotage President Trump.…
— NBC News (@NBCNews) July 26, 2025
The report quotes Clapper and Brennan, and everyone is decrying the fact that Gabbard's treason allegations have teeth; therefore, they cannot allow it to continue. So, their game plan is to discredit and promote disinterest in the subject.
Good luck with that.
To former aides who worked in Barack Obama’s White House, the Trump administration’s allegations of “treason” carried the stench of desperation from a president straining to shift the focus from a burgeoning scandal around Jeffrey Epstein.
Still, they’re grappling with how to contain the unprecedented accusations National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has leveled, even as they dismiss them as asinine, interviews with more than half a dozen people who worked in Obama’s White House or on his campaigns reveal.
Cry me a river. This is pure horse hockey, especially since three-quarters of this piece involves people who are not named and have no real authority to speak on the matter. So, instead, whisper campaigns and background commentary are presented as solid facts--for NBC, it's another day ending in "Y."
These people say the events of the last week have turned into a messaging balancing act between unnecessarily giving oxygen to the claims that Obama ordered a false intelligence analysis to show Russia had worked to help Trump win the 2016 election and leaving the potential for unchecked accusations to balloon. Many of those who talked to NBC News were not authorized to speak publicly about strategy.
“The battle now is to play this even to make sure that thoughts don’t start to creep into more mainstream” audiences, a former Obama administration official said. That person said it was important to reach "mainstream Republicans," who would listen to editorial boards and those in Congress who deemed the allegations against Obama as "beyond the pale."
What of those editorial boards? Half of them are folding up shop or being sued. The Washington Post is quietly giving their biggest anti-Trump writers opportunities to take retirement packages and go away, CBS News/Paramount just gave Trump $36 million, and the Wall Street Journal is under the microscope and being sued by Trump for their fact-free, fish wrap fodder about Trump's relationship to Epstein.
Hallelujah! Philip Bump has exited @WaPo. The most flagrant conspiracy theorist who ever (dis)graced a newspaper. His finest moment came in @noam_dworman's podcast, gaslighting endlessly about Hunter Biden's laptop. It was delicious to recount. pic.twitter.com/xErskELNhR

Admittedly they've hit bottom, yet still continue to dig.
Brennan and Clapper are the mainstays of this media drivel, mostly because they will most likely be the first to fall should their actions be deemed prosecutable.
Some expressed uncertainty over what to expect next from Trump or his lieutenants, charging that the administration could grow more bullish to draw attention away from a string of explosive Epstein stories that Trump is struggling to tamp down. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but it has said there is merit to accusations around Obama.
“I don’t know what is ahead, and I don’t know what their plans and intentions are,” John Brennan, who was CIA director in the Obama administration, told NBC News. “I just find all of this very troubling when it is being done by individuals who serve in such important positions and know what they are doing is wrong.”
Former National Intelligence Director James Clapper echoed Brennan’s ambiguity over the Trump administration’s intentions, telling CNN he would “lawyer up.”
However, the frontman for the "destroy Gabbard" contingent is also prominently featured in the article. Nobody screams "Deep State" more than former State Department spokesperson Ned Price, who was Obama's special assistant and worked in CIA under former President George W. Bush. Price claimed he went into the "lion's den" of Fox News in order to debunk Gabbard's claims, as well as reach those "reasonable Republicans" who could be swayed to see facts instead of conspiracy theories.
Sure, Jan.
I wrote about @DNIGabbard's dangerous deception for @FoxNews. I thought it was important to take facts straight to the lion’s den, and I appreciate that they let me have my say. https://t.co/ve8hqoyhBn
— Ned Price (@nedprice) July 23, 2025
Ned Price, who held roles under Obama as a special assistant to the president, a National Security Council senior director and spokesperson and as a CIA senior analyst under Obama and George W. Bush, said he believed it was imperative to reach conservative audiences with a response. On Wednesday, he wrote an opinion piece for Fox News titled: “Americans should beware of Gabbard’s ‘dangerous distraction’ with revisionist history of 2016 election.”
Price is also making the rounds on CNN and MSNBC claiming the investigations into former President Joe Biden's cognitive decline are nothingburgers and have no relevance because he's no longer president. Are we seeing a pattern here?
Of course, Price nakedly admits his plan is to be a good little CIA plant and flood the zone with disinformation about the Trump administration and its policy positions across the board.
The Epstein saga is the first time nearly everyone has seen Trump for what he is: a snake oil salesman. We should be exposing the same dynamic in every other arena — from his self-enriching spending plan to his self-enriching foreign policy to his self-enriching domestic agenda.

This weak-kneed hit piece can only be translated one way: Obama and his ilk are truly afraid and know that unless they send in their cleaners and damage-control experts, this is something that will not be going away. The more that is revealed, the more people are going to connect the dots. Just the News founder and journalist John Solomon dropped some juicy tidbits on Fox News' "Hannity" on what may be yet to come.
