NH in the House? GOP Lily Tang Williams' Epic Takedown of Maggie Goodlander Has Put This Race on the Map

A Second Amendment and free speech advocate, Lily Tang Williams is the GOP candidate running for United States Congress in New Hampshire District 2. Williams' opponent is part of the D.C. machine: Maggie Goodlander worked as a Senate staffer, a White House aid, and as a deputy assistant attorney general under Attorney General Merrick Garland before resigning to run for the District 2 seat as a Democrat. The seat was held for 12 years by Ann McLane Kuster (D-NH), who announced her retirement from Congress at the end of March

Goodlander is also married to Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor for the Biden-Harris administration. Make of that what you will.

Like a good Democrat elite, Goodlander is running to secure the seat for the Democrats, but has already dealt with whispers of malfeasance and an ethics complaint over her finances. Goodlander has also been accused of carpetbagging. In order to declare her candidacy, Goodlander rented an apartment in Nashua, NH, and claims to be a "renter." It is apparent that her primary residence is with Sullivan in D.C., but what does that matter? In California, Adam Schiff has claimed over many years that both his California home and his Maryland home are his primary residence in order to remain a California congressman and run as a senator for California. These are the games politicians play, and for the Democrats' goal of flipping the House, they considered this seat an easy hold.

After a Friday candidate debate hosted by local station WMUR, coupled with the happenings of this past week (think "garbage," "smack on the ass," and Peanut the Squirrel), the DNC may need to rethink their strategy. With two days out from November 5, it may be too little, too late, especially after the wrecking that transpired Friday night. Williams absolutely eviscerated Goodlander in the exchange, calling her out as a carpetbagger, being a D.C. elite, and exposed that because Goodlander really doesn't live in New Hampshire, she has absolutely no clue what the constituents of District 2 need.

WATCH:

The look on Goodlander's face and the gaslighting responses she gave to the blazing truth Williams presented are just precious. From the full 26-minute debate, this scorching reply from Williams' came after Goodlander prattled on about tax cuts for the rich. Using the typical Democrat talking points, she accused Williams of being in favor of this.

GOODLANDER: She believes that we should give a break to the wealthiest and the biggest corporations and hope for the best, hope that the results will trickle down to hardworking people. I take a very different approach. I believe that the middle class deserves a tax cut, and I believe that we will do a lot for this country by ensuring that we don’t continue this disastrous tax policy.:

WILLIAMS: You are wealthy, you are worth 20 million to 30 million dollars. How do you know about regular people suffering? Do you go shopping, go to Walmart, buy food? I talk to those people. And you pretend to be renter in Nashua; a few months ago you move back to run for this open seat with many dollars from Washington D.C. insiders and the millions and millions of dollars. I don't have money to run TV ad and you pretend you are poor complaining that rent is so high? You could have saved that apartment for other people to rent in Nashua and just go back to your two million dollar home in Portsmouth! Please, don't say that, because you do not understand regular people's concerns. People cry in my arms...

Hello, 911? I'd like to report a murder! Even more damning, Goodlander had little to no response to Williams' counters or to Williams' clearly presented evidence that the Biden-Harris' failed economic policies and agenda have hurt New Hampshirites.

Williams and Goodlander had sharp exchanges during the forum over the economy after the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that only 12,000 jobs were created in October earlier Friday. Williams called out Goodlander over her net worth, noting that the Democratic nominee had portrayed herself as a renter in a previous campaign pitch.

Lily Tang Williams first gained attention during the New Hampshire primaries at a town hall event. In another epic takedown, Williams took on gun control zealot David Hogg, as my colleague Ben Kew reported

The 23-year-old, who, despite graduating from Harvard University, is known for his less-than-stellar intellect, has built a political career off the back of the mass shooting that took place at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, back in 2018.

Yet at Wednesday's event, Hogg appeared to be caught off guard after being questioned by a woman who knows all too well the risks of a tyrannical government that disarms its citizens.

Here is a transcript of the exchange:

LILY TANG WILLIAMS: Hi, my name is Lily Tang Williams. Welcome to my live free or die state. Actually, I am a Chinese immigrant who survived communism. And under Mao, you know, 40 million people were starving to death after he sold communism to them. And 20 million people died... murdered during his cultural revolution. So my question to you, David, is that can you guarantee me, a gun owner tonight, that our government in the U.S., in D.C., will never become a tyrannical government? Can you guarantee that to me?

DAVID HOGG: There's no way I can ever guarantee that any government will not be tyrannical.

LILY TANG WILLIAMS: Well then the debate on gun control is over because I will never give up my guns. And you should go to China. Never. Never. And you should go to China to see how gun control works for the dictatorship of the CCP.

Williams has campaigned hard for the District 2 seat, interacting and reaching out to actual voters rather than flying in months before to pretend at phony campaigning and pose at a debate. Williams' dissecting Goodlander in that debate, along with strongly articulating what the citizens of the "Live Free or Die" state really need, went viral, catching the attention of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and James Woods.

The last woman who posed with a gun in a campaign photo became the first Black lieutenant governor of the state of Virginia. This race could be the canary in the coal mine on an election night that is bound to have some huge surprises.
