Biden Claimed in His 'Big Boy Presser' That Only He Could Beat Trump; DDHQ Issued the Real Receipts

Well, that President Joe Biden NATO presser was... something. It's going to be a minute before we figure out exactly what. Was it meant to cause such a great meltdown that he would be forced to step aside? If so, it didn't work. Oh, he melted down more than a few times, but it is clear that Biden has doubled down. He does not plan to go anywhere, especially since "Vice President Trump" is waiting in the wings to destroy democracy.

Or something.

Toward the conclusion of Biden's ramblings, he slurred something about the polls in response to a reporter's question.

President Joe Biden on Thursday said that nothing would make him reconsider his decision to remain in the 2024 presidential election contest unless polling data showed “there’s no way you can win.”

“No one’s saying that,” Biden said in a stage whisper during a news conference in Washington, D.C. “No poll says that.”

Biden’s statement was in response to a reporter who asked him if he would reconsider his vow to stay in the race if his campaign team “came back and showed you data that” Vice President Kamala Harris “would fare better against former President Donald Trump.”

"No one's saying that"—huh? Decision Desk Headquarters just dropped this anvil of reality.

As you can see, Trump still bests Biden in key battleground states. Biden also made more gobsmacking remarks about being more popular in Israel. Netanyahu would like a word, and those poll numbers also show his statement to be a lie.

After Biden gets tucked in by "President" Dr. Jill and woken up on Friday around 10:00 a.m., he'll no doubt get another rude awakening from the polls. This presser did little to rehabilitate him or convince anyone that he doesn't have serious issues, cognitive ability being one among many. But it is already being spun as "courageous" and great. Case in point:

Yes, Biden gaffed at the top, but this is a very strong presser with very, very good answers. Hopefully media can focus on the substance and not their feeding frenzy. He is making a great contrast against Trump, especially on foreign policy. Honestly, he should do this twice a week.

I'm pretty sure Karine-Jean Pierre, Dr. Jill, and members of his cabinet were pulling hairs and biting nails on this one, so I seriously doubt there will be another.
