The recent CNN article on Vice President Kamala Harris has rendered the typical responses, as my colleagues Brandon Morse and Mike Miller have documented.
The hue and cry of “racism” and “misogyny” were heard from The View’s other woman-of-color Sunny Hostin, to white author Don Winslow.
It is ironic, because the article was co-authored by two people. Edward Isaac DeVore is one, and he is indeed white and male. He also might be a racist because, in his latest book, he said Obama was a “parasite” for the Democrat Party.
Ouch.
The other co-author, Jasmine Wright, happens to be a Black female.
Oops.
So, that argument has gone over like a lead balloon.

Then you have an anonymous staffer claiming “white male energy,” in how the Biden administration defended the useless Howdy Doody Pete Buttigieg and his incompetent failings, versus how they defend Harris and hers.
Any woman would have gotten some flack. However, their is a certain level of abuse reserved for women of color who have the temerity to occupy these white spaces.#KamalaHarris #MeghanMarkle #MichelleObama https://t.co/MTZmCSxc8A

“White spaces?” I feel the same about that expression as I do about “dog whistles,” and Michael Eric Dyson’s “White Ideas.”
Miss me on that….
Here are some more gems the misogynistic and racist CNN writers documented from those anonymous Harris staffers:
“Many in the vice president’s circle fume that she’s not being adequately prepared or positioned, and instead is being sidelined.”
Why is it the White House’s job to “prepare and position” her? Harris is a heartbeat away from the presidency, so one would think these challenges would be an opportunity for her to show her presidential prowess. After all, she ran for the job before she accepted the role as Biden’s VP. Had she actually stayed in the presidential race and won the nomination and then the presidency, would she still expect someone else to prepare and position her?
If that is the case, it’s rather scary. But, even as Vice President, instead of embracing and taking the reins of leadership given her, Harris would rather whine, dodge, deflect, and blame.
“Few of the insiders who spoke with CNN think she’s being well-prepared for whichever role it will be. Harris is struggling with a rocky relationship with some parts of the White House, while long-time supporters feel abandoned and see no coherent public sense of what she’s done or been trying to do as vice president. Being the first woman, and first woman of color, in national elected office is historic but has also come with outsized scrutiny and no forgiveness for even small errors, as she’ll often point out.”
The Presidency and Vice Presidency of the United States are not coronations, despite how the Democrat Party likes to treat these roles. But in the bigger picture, the Vice Presidency of Kamala Harris is what all the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion measures that this administration champions and pushes down the throats of Americans look like.
Harris is the poster child of this hodge-podge of multiracial celebration, racial and social justice, and symbolism without substance. Since the days of her relationship with California Assembly Speaker and former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, to now, Harris has had roles handed to her that were taken from more qualified, more prepared, and probably more competent people, all because she needed credentials and was touted as a “symbol” for racial progress. Whether it was hers or someone else’s progress didn’t really matter.
The legacy media spent the entire 2020 campaign season not asking her hard questions, but touting her clothing, her shoes, her ethnicities, and letting her cackle her way out of anything she didn’t know. You see, it didn’t matter whether she was competent or not; the sheer power of being the first female Black-Indian-Asian president or vice president was going to outshine any policy, obstacle, and leadership requirement! You better recognize!
So, you would think the Biden administration would be happy about all this. Think about it: America is seeing what it will be like when every industry, corporate board, school board, your local McDonalds, and lemonade stand is run and staffed by Kamala Harris-types. You think supply-chain and workforce issues are bad now? Imagine when it’s not just a government representative who whines and complains about how unfair the world is treating them because they get nothing done, but when it’s your Starbucks barista? This is what America has in store as this Biden-Harris incompetency rolls into its second year, with two more to go.
You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. This is the end result of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion the Democrats so desperately want.
Learn it, live it, love it.
