2 + 2 = 5: The Left’s Newspeak Is Manipulating American Culture, Conservatives Must Respond Now
And the only way to stop it is to fight back. With courage, with clarity, and with words that actually mean what they say. Because once Americans see through the Left’s Newspeak, their house of cards collapses.
Caught on Hot Mic: Trump and European Leaders' Humorous Comments About the Press
Hopefully, they will be able to get it done - that would be a huge achievement. But this is what leadership looks like, after four years of a complete mess. Now we finally have competence and action at work.
Indiana Woman Finds Out the Price for Threatening to Assassinate President Trump
It's good to see Trump and his administration aren't messing around with these people after President Trump faced numerous assassination attempts in 2024, including the tragic one in Butler, Pennsylvania, that killed firefighter Corey Comperatore.

Baseball's Top Dog Touts the Sport’s Biggest, Most Radical Change Yet
Well, it has been a long time coming; he would just be administering the coup de grâce.
The media is nervous that Trump could pull this off, which would make him an undeniable favorite for the Nobel Peace Prize, or, at the very least, the argument for him winning it would be beyond compelling.
BUT SHE'S AN AG! Arrest of R.I. Assistant Attorney General Is Your Feel-Good Video of the Day
We're beginning to wonder if any of these brilliant Democrat legal minds actually went to law school. Or if they all just watched a lot of Law & Order on television.
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
Despite the histrionics efforts of Texas Democrats, they've given up the ghost and (largely) returned to the state Capitol, where they're providing the requisite quorum...and facing consequences for their dereliction of duty. (No, that's not on the Capitol Hill, but the ramifications of Texas redistricting are likely to play a role in how things look come the 120th Congress.)

And it's sounding more and more like Missouri (and other red states) will take a page from the Texas playbook and dabble in their own redrawing of maps. 2026 is a long way off — and we've still got two-thirds of the 119th Congress to wander through, but maintaining the GOP majorities in both houses is going to be critical.
White House What's Up
President Donald Trump had quite the Monday, hosting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and key European leaders at the White House in an effort to advance Russian-Ukrainian peace talks. There are still a lot of unknowns on that front, but I think most would agree Trump deserves some credit for his efforts to bring about peace.
On Tuesday, he's set to sign "a Congressional Bill" — not entirely clear which one. Also, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will hold a press briefing at 1:00 PM Eastern.
Full Court Press...
It's not exactly a court case or decision, but it looks like Missouri is going to lose its latest rockstar attorney general to a new gig at the FBI. Like his predecessors, now-Senator Josh Hawley (R) and now-Senator Eric Schmitt (R), Andrew Bailey is moving on to bigger and better things. Now, we wait to see who will become the next Missouri AG...

COMING ATTRACTIONS
According to President Trump's Truth Social post about the matter, next up on the Russia-Ukraine front will be a face-to-face meeting between Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, followed by a trilateral meeting in which Trump himself will participate.

MORNING MUSING
Unfortunately, I have to keep the musing brief this AM, as I'm on my way out the door for vacation. But I couldn't leave without sharing this thought: I don't know what's ultimately going to come of the Russia-Ukraine situation — whether a peace will be brokered (and adhered to). Certainly, there seem to have been significant steps taken in that direction recently.
What I do know is that, as I watched President Trump welcome President Zelensky back to the White House, and then watched him engage with each of the European leaders present, it sunk into me that, for all of the knocks on him — and all that has been thrown at him — he's actually grown into the role. If you'd have told me 10 years ago, the word "statesman" would legitimately befit the man, I wouldn't have believed you — and I'd have been wrong.
And wouldn't it be fitting irony if the man who was once impeached over Ukraine...finally was able to help bring peace to it?
See y'all next Monday! 😘
