Tony Bobulinski’s lawyers are on the warpath against high-profile individuals who have allegedly made false comments about him. Bobulinski has filed a defamation lawsuit against Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), over claims that Bobulinski's lawyers are being paid by a Trump-aligned Super PAC.

The lawsuit, filed on Friday, was first reported in a Daily Caller exclusive.

Tony Bobulinksi will sue New York Democratic Rep. Daniel Goldman on Friday morning for defamation, the Daily Caller has first learned.

Bobulinski, a former business associate of Hunter Biden who has accused President Joe Biden of wrongdoing, previously threatened legal action against Goldman after Bobulinski appeared for a public hearing before Congress last month. After the hearing, Goldman sent a tweet accusing Bobulinski of making “false allegations” with the help of a Trump-affiliated lawyer.

The legal action is a response to Goldman writing a post on X, formerly Twitter, intimating that Bobulinski’s attorneys were in league with the Trump campaign.

As RedState reported, Bobulinski’s attorneys sent

a letter to Goldman demanding that he delete the post within five days or face legal action.

In a letter obtained by RedState dated March 26, 2024, Binnall Law Group informed Goldman that “litigation is imminent due to recent defamatory comments” he made about Bobulinski on social media. The lawyers advised him to “identify and preserve all hard copy and electronic documents and data that relate, in any way, to the subject matter of this dispute.”

The letter also states:

To be clear, as you are well aware given your position, Mr. Bobulinski has not told any lies about his firsthand knowledge of the Biden family. Your statement, as though it were a matter of fact, that Mr. Bobulinski has lied to federal investigators, as well as Congress, is defamatory per se and will not be tolerated. Further, President Trump’s campaign has never paid Mr. Bobulinski’s legal fees. In fact, Mr. Bobulinski has paid over $500,000 in legal fees to numerous lawyers in law firms out of his own pocket since 2020. If you do not immediately delete the post from X and publicly retract your statement on X within five days of receiving this letter, we will file suit against you.

“Mr. Bobulinski demands an immediate retraction in a new post on X and deletion” of the post, according to the letter.

Bobulinski, who has given testimony before Congress about President Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s business dealings, has also sued Fox News personality Jessica Tarlov for making similar claims. These developments come as House Republicans are pursuing an impeachment inquiry against Biden.

The lawsuits seem to indicate that Bobulinski will not allow these individuals, or others, to make false statements about his actions. The outcome of these legal battles could have an impact on shaping public opinion about the Biden saga.
