Attorneys representing former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski have targeted another Democrat making false claims about him. This time, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) is in the crosshairs for falsely claiming that the Trump campaign is paying Bobulinski’s legal team.

Some on the left have taken to make the deceptive claim that Bobulinski, who has been testifying before Congress about President Joe Biden’s involvement with his family’s questionable business dealings, is somehow in cahoots with the Trump campaign in an effort to discredit him.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Goldman wrote:

Tony Bobulinski has used a Trump campaign-paid lawyer to make false allegations since October 2020.

When Cassidy Hutchinson said he met with Mark Meadows with a mask on, he called her a liar.

Then she produced a photo.

Watch how he dissembles in response to the receipt

In a letter obtained by RedState dated March 26, 2024, Binnall Law Group informed Goldman that “litigation is imminent due to recent defamatory comments” he made about Bobulinski on social media. The lawyers advised him to “identify and preserve all hard copy and electronic documents and data that relate, in any way, to the subject matter of this dispute.”

The letter also states:

To be clear, as you are well aware given your position, Mr. Bobulinski has not told any lies about his firsthand knowledge of the Biden family. Your statement, as though it were a matter of fact, that Mr. Bobulinski has lied to federal investigators, as well as Congress, is defamatory per se and will not be tolerated. Further, President Trump’s campaign has never paid Mr. Bobulinski’s legal fees. In fact, Mr. Bobulinski has paid over $500,000 in legal fees to numerous lawyers in law firms out of his own pocket since 2020. If you do not immediately delete the post from X and publicly retract your statement on X within five days of receiving this letter, we will file suit against you.

“Mr. Bobulinski demands an immediate retraction in a new post on X and deletion” of the post, according to the letter.

This development comes after the law firm sent a similar letter to Fox Corporation referencing the same false accusation being parroted by “The Five” co-host Jessica Tarlov. She later clarified the comments.

Binnal demanded an “immediate retraction” of “this maliciously blatant lie” and threatened to “immediately file a defamation lawsuit against Fox, and Ms. Tarlov, if this lie is not retracted by Ms. Tarlov on air today, March 21, 2024.”

Not surprisingly, Fox News did the right thing. On Thursday’s broadcast, Tarlov issued a clarification on the air.

“I would like to clarify a comment I made yesterday during our discussion of Tony Bobulinski’s appearance at the congressional hearing. During an exchange with my colleagues about the hearing I said that Mr. Bobulinski’s lawyers’ fees have been paid by a Trump super PAC as recent as January. What was actually said during the hearing was that the law firm representing Mr. Bobulinski was paid by a Trump PAC. I have seen no indication those payments were made in connection with Mr. Bobulinski’s legal fees and he denies that they were.”

However, the firm sent another letter indicating they were not satisfied with the “clarification.” It demanded that she completely retract her allegations that Team Trump is paying Bobulinski’s fees and issue a public apology on the show.

Folks on the left have been launching these types of attacks at Bobulinski ever since he began testifying about President Biden and his family’s business affairs.
