Democrats and their situational ethics have released their grip on the bottom of the barrel and floated to the surface once again. Not unsurprisingly, but perhaps unexpectedly this time, their words have spun around and jabbed them in the guts.
The internet never forgets. Progressives never remember that.
This week, an old video with Anderson Cooper and AOC resurfaced in which The Bartender Who Went to Washington proclaimed before a national audience that Joe Biden should ignore a court ruling on the abortion pill, saying, " I believe that the Biden administration should ignore this ruling."

Really? I didn't know presidents were allowed to do that. President Trump doesn't seem to be aware of this fact because he's doing everything he can do to run his agenda within the framework of the law through the appellate process. Maybe he should just listen to AOC and blow the stop signs.

AOC Is Sanders 2.0 and We Should All Be Grateful
Since this revealing bit of news hit the net over two months ago on Dave Rubin's show, the consistently loud-mouthed congresswoman has been strangely quiet about it. And since it finally got mainline media attention two days ago, she's still keeping her mouth shut. That's really, really out of character. Maybe she thinks there's no response that will ever get her out of that hole, and that could be bad. Nobody would want to date her anymore. So mum's the word.
Now, I did search the web for some piece where AOC was banging the drum about Trump defying court decisions, but I couldn't find anything. Not a thing. I wanted to juxtapose a recent outburst with the old outburst to sort of have the I said that then, but I say this now bit, but no. Could not dig one up. You know she's having a meltdown inside because I have no doubt she's chewing her lipsticks to crumbs in frustration. Remember, this is the woman who gave an internet class on how "people of color" can evade and avoid ICE. She doesn't like deportations, and she doesn't like Trump, so you know staying out of the ring is killing her inside. Maybe her handlers are smarter than she is when they told her, Hey, remember what you said on Anderson Cooper's show? No doubt this one is continuously running through her head. God knows there's plenty of room for it.
And sure, it's gold, but in the bigger sense, it's sad because it just demonstrates that progs have mushy, slushy, malleable ethics, and they say anything to get votes. You can level that one at some conservative pols, too, but given the fact that Democrats all stick together in their hive, it's a big problem in a two-party system. It's probably time for a third party, but that's another discussion. Anyway, maybe some news outlet will have her on for an interview and ask her if she still believes that presidents should just ignore the judiciary and do what they want.
I'm not holding my breath for that. It's amazing that she blurted out her thoughts on Cooper's show. But if I were a real journalist with a TV show, like he is, I'd be awfully curious to get her reaction about the matter now.
