Take a moment and think about where we are as a country. Last week, the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, laid bare the Obama administration’s years-long Russia collusion hoax that tore the country apart for years. In a press release from the DNI, it states, “President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.” This is just the beginning of the newly released information, and I’m certain people at the top will be held accountable.
Within the first six months of taking office, President Trump has completely closed our southern border. Last week, the White House announced new numbers from the border that are both historic and hard to believe. For the second month in a row, zero illegal aliens have been released into the country. Zero. In a post on X, Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) compared that to last June:
June 2024: 27,766 illegal aliens released into the U.S.
June 2025: Zero illegal aliens released into the U.S.
Congress must codify the America First border security policies of President Trump.
If my math is correct, that’s a drop of 27,766 illegals allowed into the country just this time last year. I could go on, but this column would quickly become a book.

Here’s the question I want to examine: Can one person leading a major movement really change all that much? I believe President Trump has single-handedly proven that statement to be true. Within the past 24 hours, two major events have taken place that clearly show the change taking place in America. The first is Ellen DeGeneres confirming she has left the United States to live in the United Kingdom. The second is golfer Scottie Scheffler, a man built on faith and family, winning his fourth major championship.
As long as Trump has been in office, celebrities have made the ridiculous threat of leaving the country. Like we care. USA Today has confirmed that talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have left the United States for the United Kingdom. In an interview about the move, DeGeneres stated:
"We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, '(Trump) got in...' And we're like, 'We're staying here…It's clean. Everything here is just better – the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here.”
“Everything here is just better” for people who live, believe, and vote like DeGeneres. I’m sure she believes that to be true. I’d bet she supports men playing in women’s sports. That is frankly not the America we are now living in. We have universities that are now apologizing, pulling awards, and reversing transgender policies. I understand why Ellen made these comments, and I truly believe she feels that way. I hope she stays and others like her go. America has changed for the better. Ellen leaving proves the left is losing.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, golfer Scottie Scheffler is proving Trump and America are winning. On Sunday, Scheffler won the British Open championship—his fourth major victory. Scottie is 29. He regularly talks about his faith, and how much he loves his family. In an interview before the Open Championship, Scheffler stated:
I love being able to provide for my family out here playing golf. That's why I talk about family being my priority because it really is.
But if my golf ever started affecting my home life or it ever affected the relationship I have with my wife or my son, that's going to be the last day that I play out here for a living.
What a powerful statement from the current number one golfer in the world. His attitude highlights the cultural shift taking place. In a new ad for Nike, the company depicts Scheffler on the green with his son. The caption reads: “You’ve already won.” Scheffler has already won.
Priorities unchanged. Another major secured.

If you remember, two years ago, Nike partnered with Dylan Mulvaney, a man, in hopes of selling athletic bras. Trump, the MAGA movement, and historic American beliefs have turned the cultural tide. Ellen DeGeneres and those on the left who believe like her are frustrated. They’re losing. They’re seeing the degenerate gains they have made over the decades disappear in a swift whirlwind. With Trump and the helm, the golden age of America continues.
