You can't defeat America from without. Going to war with us is effectively suicide, and even the most powerful armies in the world don't measure up to us when we take the safeties off. We don't even have to drone strike you or launch ICBMs. If we really wanted to, we would just appear in your bedroom one night, put on your slippies for you, and escort you to a chopper like it was a well-armed Uber.
So, the only way to take us down is from within. There are many ways to do this, and the erosion has been going on for some time. To be sure, when we catch the method and means, we take action, but true to our form as a giant, we're slow to act, slow to move, but powerful when we finally hit. So the best method is to make America unable to fully realize we're eroding, or at the very least, have that realization come about as slowly as possible.
The best way to do that in America is through the abuse of compassion. Given our Judeo-Christian foundations, compassion is one of the chief virtues of the American people, and as such, perverting and corrupting that virtue can be a solid way to get people to either join your side without understanding what they're signing up for, or making it tough for your more awake opponents to argue against you.
To illustrate what I mean here, we'll take the issue of "multiculturalism."
At The Federalist, multiculturalism was brilliantly unmasked by writer John Daniel Davidson, who pointed out that multiculturalism is effectively an avenue to authoritarianism, and he's completely on target here. He holds up the events going on in Europe and how countries like France and the U.K. are effectively being reduced to totalitarian countries, with the authoritarians waving the multicultural flag all the while.
The idea is that you, the native, must roll over and die in the name of being a good person so that you don't offend the foreigners coming into your land. A good person shuts up and allows his culture, his land, and his people to radically change or disappear so as not to be labeled as racist and bigoted. The people in charge will come down on you hard for merely speaking out in offensive ways, and just to drive the point home, they will take little to no action if your daughter is raped or your son is murdered by one of these people. Davidson wrote:
Police literally knock on doors and haul British citizens away in handcuffs for expressing skepticism about immigration or Islam, or complaining about Palestinian flags flying in public. The authorities do this under the cover of laws against harassment and incitement, but in reality it’s nothing more than a thin justification for speech codes and blasphemy laws.
This is an aspect of mass Third World immigration to the West that tends to get less attention than crime or rioting or the imposition of Islam in the public square. To deal with all these things, to manage the tensions that arise from having unassimilated ethnic and religious communities residing in a nation, requires authoritarian measures that are incompatible with a free society.
When the smoke clears from the riots now underway in France, we will see not just emboldened Third World ethnic enclaves, but an emboldened and increasingly authoritarian state.
In the end, multiculturalism and authoritarianism are a package deal, and the global leftist leadership of the West is foisting it their native populations. There is only one way to avoid such authoritarianism, and it requires a total rejection of multiculturalism.
Multiculturalism is a means, not an end, though I'm willing to bet that the authoritarians will find themselves pretty surprised to find they're not as in charge as they wished they were, once these "enrichers" are far less controllable than their own Western people were.
I think that if you look at the places where multiculturalism has infected the place the most, you'll notice that some of the first things thrown out are the rights that establish a free people. Free speech, free assembly, and free association are led to the chopping block to the sound of cheers and applause.
I don't know if it's too late for Europe. I'm not entirely sure anything short of violent revolution from the natives will actually change anything at this point. France seems to think that's the case, at least, but then again, the French will riot over anything and change nothing.
How do we stop it here in America, though?
Our advantage is that our rights are still enshrined in our Constitution. It's a lot harder to shut us up legally. That said, it's pretty easy to shut us up socially. So, the knee-jerk response is "be less compassionate." I'm not sure that's the way. Christ made it pretty clear that compassion was important, so we'll keep that nested firmly in our system of values.
What I do think we should do, however, is care less about causing pain and offense. Compassion isn't always nice. Sometimes hard truths need to be told, and to create peace you have to engage in violence with those who don't want it. We should be willing to say things like, "Islam is not compatible with Western values," without having to muddy the conversation with, "now I don't mean all Muslims." Whether or not specific Muslims want to reject the theocratic system of government their religion adheres to is their choice to make, and I don't feel the need to be careful about singling them out every time I discuss something as important as Islam.
Their part in the nuance of the conversation is up to them, not me.
I think that if government programs are harming people, be it welfare or H-1 B visas, then we should do the right thing and fully reform these programs, and not care too much about the sob stories we're going to inevitably hear about how it would ruin people's lives. I'm sure it is going to ruin quite a few lives, but many of these lives are being ruined because the programs are so easily corrupted and abused.
I'm not advocating for heartlessness, but I am advocating for truth, and the truth is that so many social programs, be it welfare benefits or Social Security, are bad for the country and should either be destroyed or radically overhauled.
Any program that can be used to assist in the withering and eroding of America by enemies, both foreign and domestic, needs to be taken to the anvil and hammered, either to pieces or into a tool. The thing is, to do that, we first have to get past the idea that our compassion should include allowing ourselves to be doormats to be walked on and over. Multiculturalism relies on this sentiment. They can't force us to be quiet by law, so they have to rely on our will to be kind, welcoming, and helpful.
But we don't need to help our enemies in our destruction, and that means accomplishing things that look cruel but aren't. It also means enduring accusations about our character that sound hurtful but are outright lies. To be clear, their accusations will continue whether you cave to their will or not. They'll continue throwing those accusations at you as they bring the knife to your throat.
Be free. Reject multiculturalism.
