AOC Knows Exactly What She's Doing With Her Newest Posts and It's Going to Work on Some Folks

She says "don't be weird," but weird is exactly how she wants you to be about it.

New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is running for President. She hasn't officially announced anything, but let's be real. She's been doing so much campaigning over the course of the last two years, with all of her appearances geared specifically at ginning up support from the youth, the DSA, and now, everyone else.

You've likely seen the videos she's posting, and if you haven't, here's one such video of her exposing her stomach to the camera for a "bloat check." At the beginning of the video, she smiles at the camera and says, "Don't make it weird," before continuing... but this is the internet. Weird is 90 percent of what it does.

I know some of you are wondering how this could ever gain her any support, and I can tell you, as a man who's been in the business of making content for a long, long time, a woman can pretty much get anyone to like her if she smiles and exposes something.

Since AOC and her fiancé split, she's been going pretty hard on the thirst-trapping.

I'd say this is just her looking for attention after a breakup, but if there's one thing I know about AOC, it's that she doesn't do anything unless it helps her accomplish some sort of gain in power. If you ask me, she's trying to attract men, yes, but not for any kind of romantic prospect. If female influencers have learned anything, it's that the presence of a mate would kill the whole plan.

The idea is to flash enough flesh and teeth to get men softer on her. To stop hearing the ridiculous nonsense and bizarre behavior that comes from her pretty regularly and get to a point where seeing her pop up on a feed is actually a welcome thing. Suddenly, everything she says won't sound so stupid. In fact, she might even have a point!

If you're thinking this could never work, then I'd like to gesture to all of human history to prove you wrong. Attraction has done more to lead people to do stupid things than any other substance, cause, or belief in history. King Solomon, one of the wisest and best Kings Israel ever had, fell to temptation, not of power, but of flesh.

Women aren't even immune from it. I even watched conservative women swoon over a gang member, Jeremy Meeks, in 2014 because he was, according to them, attractive-looking. It happened again with Wade Wilson in 2024. He strangled a woman to death, and due to his attractiveness, women were ready to line up around the block to be next.

You think a bunch of men out there wouldn't be dumb enough to sell their country down the river for a parasocial relationship with a politician who flirts with them through a camera and raises her shirt to her boobs? You know how many would falter if she brought it up a little more?

It's increasingly looking like woke 2.0 will include thirst traps, and if I'm being honest, it's a smart move. The left has proven they hate men, and it's driven men away by and large, to the point where the Democrat Party has a man-shaped chunk of its voting block missing from it. As of right now, they're voting for Trump, and proudly. If the Republicans play their cards right with men, they'll be voting for the next Republican in line, too.

But do not ever underestimate the power of an even remotely attractive woman acting playfully in clothing that shows off her assets. AOC isn't as stupid as many people think she is. Her political ideas are stupid, sure, but she's more clever than many give her credit for. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be where she is.

But mark my words, the thirst-trapping will continue in the Democrat Party until morale improves, and if it works for AOC, you're going to see it happen more from other Democrat prospects.
