I've been on Twitch for a very long time, and for a while, I was a streamer myself before I turned YouTuber.
One thing you learn on Twitch is that if you're supportive of left-leaning causes, say left-leaning things, and attack right-leaning ideas, traditionalism, Christianity, etc., then you'll likely never run into any problems with Twitch staff. In fact, the more radical you are, the more likely it is you'll become a feature on the platform.
It's sad because the platform used to be about gaming, but it's devolved into a place where you watch women consistently try to push how far they can go without crossing the line into actual porn, irl streamers who purposely cause drama and trouble for views, and of course, radicalized political commentary.
Chief among these commentators is Hasan Piker, a man of privilege and wealth who larps as a communist and is actively a terrorist sympathizer.
After the umpteenth attempted assassination of Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, Piker came up in conversation continuously because he has openly and brazenly been advocating for the assassinations and murder of Republicans and/or anyone who sits at the top of our "system." He will defend or flat-out deny that rape happened if certain people are being raped, and he thinks it's funny that innocents die if they're the right kind of innocents.
Hasan Piker has consistently endorsed political violence.

Sorry, but people and organizations that treat him as a voice worth considering and defending don’t get to pretend to be against political violence.

Choose Better Heroes: The Democrats Keep Struggling Now That They Own Hasan Piker
You've likely seen us writing more and more articles based around him on this very website, and there's a good reason for that. The Democrat Party, the media, and the left in general have elevated Piker to something like their top representative.
They believe that because he connects with Gen Z, he's the latest useful idiot that they must shove into the limelight at every given chance. This means appearing on news programs, being interviewed by the New York Times, having puff pieces written about him, and, when possible, having him show up at various marches and protests.
But as I've made very clear, Piker is your typical American radical. A pseudo-intellectual hypocrite who talks the talk but fails to walk the walk. He was born wealthy, he's still wealthy, and he'll never stop being wealthy if he can help it, and all while telling everyone that we need to "Eat the rich."
But at the core of Piker's popularity is his ability to generate an orbit of other people who are popular. They appear on streams with him, they go on adventures together, and they engage in conversations that interest the young that fall outside of politics as well. Yet, no matter what the conversation or activity is, it always pipelines back to radical politics.
Twitch is a cesspool and has been for some time. As I've noted in a YouTube video about it, Hasan is the chief radical, but he's hardly the only one, and what's more, he's being supported and promoted by Twitch staff, including its CEO, Dan Clancy. My video is nearly 20 minutes long, but I advise you to watch it, as I go well into the situation at Twitch.
But this goes further.
As I talk about in the video, Twitch's moderation is insanely one-sided. Piker and those in his orbit are punished for extremist rhetoric far less than those on the opposite side of their political radicalism. It's not uncommon to hear of other streamers, like Asmongold (considered to be Piker's chief opposite), being suspended for stating hardline opinions that would still look tame compared to things Piker would say.
This unfair moderation shows that Twitch has become something of a platform to radicalize people to the left, and trust me, they push Piker and his orbit on people whenever possible.
If you move up the ladder from Dan Clancy, you'll see that his boss is Steve Boom, the VP of Audio, Games, and Twitch at Amazon, who then answers directly to Andy Jassy, Amazon's CEO.
Amazon owns Twitch, runs Twitch, and ultimately decides how Twitch is moderated.
Meaning Amazon has a hand in the direct radicalization of our country and the effect it has on the youth.
If we really want to tone down the rhetoric in this country, then Trump's administration needs to start looking into what's going on at Amazon, because the pipeline to radicalization from the top isn't that long. It's my honest guess that Clancy is somewhat terrified of Piker and his fellow radical streamers because they made them the most popular people on the platform. If Boom is doing nothing to rein that in, then I can only assume Jassy isn't lifting a finger to change things.
It might be ideological, it might just be about the money Piker brings in, but I doubt it, given the fact that moderation only seems to truly lean in one direction.
To be clear, I'm all about free speech, but I think we all can agree that Piker saying things like how someone should "kill Rick Scott" goes beyond acceptable parameters. Someone who actively encourages terrorism and parades it around on his stream, even going so far as to interview Houthi pirates, is an insane thing to promote for any American company.
Again, if I were the Trump administration, I'd start looking into the Amazon to Twitch pipeline, because there's a serious issue within it, and it's contributing to the rhetoric that leads to events like the third Trump assassination attempt.
Don't believe me?
Watch this:
What exactly are you advocating for? Hasan Piker must be held accountable for inciting violence by calling for someone to take Trump out.
