I'm watching something of a reawakening in the Western world. You oftentimes hear about a "sleeping giant" that will wake up from time to time and set things right, but I'm not entirely sure we've ever actually seen it.
I think we're starting to now.
The reason I don't think we ever truly saw this proverbial giant is that we put it to bed after World War 2. Whenever a group began acting up, like leftists, special interest groups, or even foreign nations, we always warned them that if they continued, it would wake said giant and it would tear hell across the globe. I think there was a mistake in understanding what the giant was, however.
We always associated this figurative entity with the American people, but that's only half correct. The giant has been, and always will be, Western culture — the ghost of Rome. The thing that brings civilization about through the sword and keeps it with the pen. More importantly, the entity that now houses and lives by Judeo-Christian values.
You'd hear rumblings of it from time to time, but I don't really think it began truly awakening until recently. You could say it truly began waking up when Trump lost the 2020 election. It opened its eyes when they took a shot at him. It began sitting up when they assassinated Charlie Kirk. Funny enough, this isn't just in America, but over the entire Western world.
Look at the signs.
Things that used to plague Western civilization with the intent of fundamentally changing or uprooting it aren't just being rejected; they're being mocked in the open, and unapologetically to boot. The LGBTQ+ activist community, which had an inordinate amount of influence and power in our civilzation seemed to go from a throne to a gutter in the span of one Bud Light ad. Those who still talk and act as if it has the same power are rejected, mocked, and acted against out of pure spite.
So many stories have recently been released showing this very thing.

Understand that this isn't just a fun cultural turn we're looking at, but a massive rebuke of an element of our civilization that more and more people are collectively agreeing has to sit down, shut up, or leave entirely.
The "leave entirely" part is, I think, the loudest right now.
Trump is currently deporting criminals and illegal immigrants to applause from a massive part of the American population. This is really significant because this is happening with all the Left's horses and all the Left's transgender "men" trying to make ICE look like a Gestapo with every news report. Despite the sob stories and rage, the American people aren't just not caring, it's fueling the thirst for more. Making fun of the protesters who try to make ICE's job harder has become a national passtime and arresting them has become our primary form of entertainment.

Down south, Argentina has the Libertarian President Javier Milei, who ejected socialism from the country's government and replaced it with capitalism. He declared on the world stage recently that "Machiavelli is dead" before saying something I think was telling about the awakening of the proverbial giant:
The world has begun to awaken.
The best proof of this is what is happening in the Americas with the rebirth of the ideas of liberty.
Therefore, the Americas will be the beacon of light that will once again illuminate the entire West, thereby repaying the civilizational debt with expressions of gratitude towards the foundations in Greek philosophy, Roman law and Judeo-Christian values.

The UK has gotten so bad with its immigrant problem, namely the erasure of Western culture in what is the cradle of modern Western civlization has the English rising up and pushing back on its own government. A character was created by the UK government that was supposed to be the representation of the bad guy, but soon was adopted by the people as a representation of the English people. Her name is Amelia, and she's now the face of the "reimmigration" movement.
The UK's Labour leader and Prime Minister, Kier Starmer, has one of the lowest approval ratings of all time for a Prime Minister. At this moment, he's currently losing the PR war against a character his own party created and then lost control of. A character who says things like this:

The cultural shift is massive. More than I think many people realize.
We're finally starting to see Western culture for what it is. Powerful, unapologetic, and ready to draw hard lines. We've been living with what amounted to compelled affirmation on our part due to our value of treating people with kindness and allowing them to live and let live. However, it's clear that many of these groups, whether they're socio-political or theocratic, have taken advantage of that to extreme harm to both Western values and the people who live by them.
I don't think we're going to see the giant fall back asleep now. Not until everything is put right. I expect to see some major changes in the near future on the Western end of the globe.
