As we reported, Vice President JD Vance was in Minnesota on Thursday to lend some support to the hard-working men and women of ICE who have come under such attack by the Democrats in the state.
The Left's take on this subject is wild. They're the ones trying to stop or block the enforcement of federal immigration law. They're not the good guys; they're the guys in the wrong here. Plus, they're always pushing fake stories and narratives about ICE and their law enforcement operations.
Vance did a good job, shooting down one of those misleading stories claiming ICE was detaining a five-year-old.

But allegedly, protesters came out to what they thought was his hotel, making lots of noise and looking like they even had parts of a band there, as our sister site Townhall observed.

This was posted by the original poster on Wednesday night, when the temperature in the area was about 2 degrees below.
But what was funny was that Vance wasn't in Minnesota then. He didn't fly to Minnesota until Thursday. And after he delivered his remarks in support of ICE, he headed back to Joint Base Andrews and D.C. So he wouldn't have been at a hotel in Minnesota then either. This is some serious fail here, if this was directed at Vance. They're not bothering Vance in the slightest. Who messed this up? Or did someone trick them and feed them some false information?
There was another report that it was the Graduate Hotel, and the anti-ICE folks thought ICE was there. But again, no indication whether ICE was actually staying there or not in the story.
They probably are bothering some poor folks who just want to sleep. But since they think their right to throw a tantrum trumps anyone else's rights, they don't care about that. It looked like there were some police there. What about noise ordinances?
Police said that at some point, people "tampered with barricades, compromising safety in the area." They gave them multiple warnings, then let loose with the chemical irritants. They were not very happy about that, and three people were arrested.
What do the anti-ICE folks think the people in the area, the hotel, and others think of them when they are bothering them like this? They have a unique way of turning people off with their ridiculousness. They should hold the Democratic politicians who incited all this insanity accountable.
None of this will stop ICE from doing its job.
