Joe Rogan Reveals California Officials Knew of LA's Fire Risks Back in July of 2024, and They Did Nothing

America's eyes are focused on the ongoing situation in California, where fires are rampaging through the Los Angeles area. As they do, Democrats are doing everything they can to deflect blame from themselves, including going after Donald Trump for rightfully pointing out that it was their incompetence and mismanagement of the state's infrastructure and resources that caused this fire to spread.

However, more and more evidence is coming out that California's leadership knew of the Los Angeles area's vulnerabilities when it came to fire, and did absolutely nothing about it.

A video is now going around X featuring Joe Rogan speaking about a firefighter who warned him that if the conditions were right, LA would go up in flames and there would be absolutely nothing anyone could do about it.

During a July 19, 2024 episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," Rogan began describing to his guest the conversation he had with an LA firefighter.

"I talked to a fireman once — this is one of the reasons it freaked me out — and he was telling me 'dude, one day' he goes 'it's going to be the right wind, and fire is going to start in the right place, and it's going to burn through L.A., all the way to the ocean, and there's not a f***ing thing we can do about it.'"

Rogan said the firefight revealed that the reason it hadn't happened yet is that "we just get lucky with the wind."

Rogan continued describing the fires that would sweep L.A. saying "these fires are so big, dude, we're talking about thousands of acres that are burning simultaneously with 40 mile-per-hour winds."

Rogan added that the wind would blow embers through the air where they would land on roofs, bushes, and with everything so dry, everything goes up in flames.

"And once it happens, it happens in a way that's so spread out that there's nothing they can do," Rogan added.

If a random firefight had that information, then you can bet that California's leadership had it as well, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and L.A. mayor Karen Bass.

As you can see from the recent interviews between both Newsom and Bass, both are demonstrating incredible levels of incompetency and attempting to pass the blame. For Bass's part, when asked for word on the fires by a Sky News journalist, Bass said absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing.

This isn't just gross incompetence by California's leadership that has now left millions of people suffering in various ways, with many losing everything to fire that is ripping through Los Angeles as I write this. This is also a blatant disregard for the warnings they clearly had, and thanks to them not moving on these warnings, and placing their priorities elsewhere, Californians are suffering.

I can imagine that after this, U-Hauls in California will be hard to find.
