When it was announced that there was an assassination attempt on the life of the once (and likely future) President Donald Trump, it was inevitable that the left would weigh in and that what a lot of them had to say was going to demonstrate just how low they're willing to sink.
And they lived up to expectations.
As you have likely heard by now, a shooter attempted to hit Trump in the head, missed, and hit his ear instead. Trump is fine, but the shooter is dead, as is a rallygoer, according to reports.

The uproar that the assassination attempt failed was so thick on X that it created trending topics, as you can see in this screenshot image. These included words such as "staged" and "HOW DO YOU MISS?":

Again, this is shocking but not surprising. Given the ferocity with which the left has been trying to stop Trump from getting back into office, threats against Trump's life, or even wishes for his life to be claimed, aren't uncommon.
Other phrases like "THEY MISSED" are trending as well, filled with grotesque lamentations about the fact that Trump is still standing:

People have been told for years now that Trump is literally the most evil person in the world, and possibly the most evil person that has ever lived. They often compare him to people like Adolf Hitler. CNN"s Jake Tapper has a bad habit of doing it, and the New Republic even doctored Trump's image into looking more like the German dictator.

So, it's no wonder that people on the left are lamenting the fact that Trump didn't die today.
Violence doesn't have a place in civilized American discourse and political elections, yet the left consistently introduces violence in various forms, be it Antifa, riots, and now assassination attempts. The worry for everyone should be that, with this attempt on Trump's life, these kinds of attacks will become normalized as it becomes more and more likely that Trump will win the election.
Feelings of desperation can breed desperate decisions, and the corporate media, the Democrat Party, and activist groups have been feeding the public desperation since before Trump's first term. The left is terrified and naturally, some of the more unstable of them are going to start lashing out and doing something about it. This is one of the reasons Antifa exists in the first place. It's fear turned into hatred, and hatred turned into action.
Brace yourself, because this probably is going to get worse before it gets better.
