Hunter Biden demanded a hearing on Capitol Hill and then didn't show up. Perhaps he should have, because his allies in the Democratic caucus aren't handling things well. 

In the gift that just keeps on giving, Tony Bobulinski's testimony once again produced a must-see moment, this time involving the esteemed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The congresswoman tried to pin the witness down on noting "specific crimes" he witnessed Hunter and Joe Biden commit.

I guess she wasn't expecting him to be ready with an actual answer because he triggered her harder than a long day at the range.

After practicing in the mirror all night, AOC delivers a fiery pre-written script to Tony Bobulinski, calling on him to point to the exact crime Joe Biden committed.

OCASIO-CORTEZ: I have a quick question. Simple. Is it your testimony today that you personally witnessed President Joe Biden commit a crime?

BOBULINSKI: I believe the fact that he was sitting with me while I was...(AOC interrupts)

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Did you witness the president commit a crime? Is it your testimony today?

BOBULINSKI: Yes

OCASIO-CORTEZ: What crime do you, have you witnessed? 

BOBULINSKI: How much time do I have to go through it? 

OCASIO-CORTEZ: It is simple, you name the crime. Did you watch him steal something?

BOBULINSKI: Corruption statutes, RICO and conspiracy, FARA (AOC interrupts)

OCASIO-CORTEZ: What is the crime, sir? Specifically?

BOBULINSKI: You ask and answer the question, I answered the question, RICO, you're obviously not familiar with

OCASIO-CORTEZ: Excuse me, sir. Excuse me, sir. Excuse me, sir. RICO is not a crime, it is a category. What is the crime? 

BOBULINSKI: It is a category of crimes that you are then charged under.

That's just the first two minutes of the exchange. It continued for another three minutes, in which Ocasio-Cortez shouted for the cameras, demanding the impeachment investigation be ended because of her supposedly brilliant pre-written speech. Yes, you can see her looking down to read it verbatim throughout the exchange.

Here's a paraphrased version of how things went.

AOC: Tell me the specific crimes committed by Joe Biden!

Bobulinski: RICO and corruption statutes

AOC: I said tell me the specific crimes!

Bobulinski: I just did

AOC: [SCREAMS]

Whatever theater lessons she took during school, I'd suggest she take more. Her entire delivery is overwrought and comical. It's not impactful, and it doesn't stand out or make her point more interesting. She just comes across as a know-nothing, which she is. 

They say never ask a question you don't want the answer to. Ocasio-Cortez should probably take that one to heart. She wasn't expecting Bobulinski to be ready with actual statutes when she asked her pre-planned "gotcha."

Even on the merits, her rant is nonsensical. After saying that she doesn't believe RICO is a crime (someone let Donald Trump know), she quotes the "high crimes and misdemeanors" standard for impeachment. Of course, her sudden change of heart ignores that she voted to impeach Donald Trump for no specified crime in early 2020. 

Democrats never want to live by their own rules, and that's why it's so important to make them do so when given the opportunity. Ocasio-Cortez can scream all she wants. This investigation into the Biden family's corruption is going to continue.
