Right on Cue: Spotlight Chaser Gavin Newsom All in on Toxic Abdul El-Sayed, Because of Course He Is

I recently got put on California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s email list, and every time a new one comes in, I cringe. This notification on Saturday was hardly surprising:

Of course he’s left the state — he has no interest in it. He’s repeatedly shown that he’s far more excited to go to red states and troll governors who are performing much better than he is, that he’d rather do podcasts than help to bring down the state’s sky-high gas prices, and that he really really really wants to be president despite his abysmal record.

Where is he going, ostensibly to help the people of California? He’s in Michigan to stump for Democrats facing midterm elections in November and to meet with the Left’s new extremist hero, Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.

Gee, that’s going to help young people in California who currently have no chance of ever being able to afford a house of their own.

El-Sayed has proven in his short time in the national spotlight that he is one of the most extreme leftists we have ever seen make it this far in American politics, but that’s ok, because Abdul “gets it,” according to Gavin.

“Gets” what? Antisemitism, Marxism, and sympathizing with terrorists? That’s all good with Gov. Hair Gel:

Gavin Newsom has confirmed he will meet with radical Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed as he campaigns with Democrats in the battleground state of Michigan.

During a C-SPAN broadcast, a reporter asked the governor Sunday whether he intends to meet with El-Sayed, to which Newsom confirmed, “I’ll be meeting with him tomorrow.”

He continued: “The Senate is in play, and it will go through this state. Getting behind him is going to be important. That’s going to require not just the party here, but support outside of Michigan.”

Asked why he would seemingly support such a radical, Newsom didn’t blink. Although El-Sayed is an incredibly divisive politician who is as vicious as they come, Newsom ludicrously said it’s all about bringing people together:

“My observation is he seems to be moving at a pretty impressive clip. It’s about unity, and these larger/smaller events, including the ones we’ll have tomorrow, are indicative of someone who gets it.”

If “getting it” means he’ll govern like you but probably even worse, and he wins, then Michiganders can expect a long, painful descent into ruin, Mr. Newsom. Residents and businesses will flee the state in droves, taxes will shoot up, and extremist social and gender issues will dominate the administration’s priorities.

If there’s anybody who “gets” all that, it’s Gavin Newsom.

Editor’s Note: Gavin Newsom wants to turn America into one big version of California - a failed, overtaxed, dystopian nightmare.
