We reported on the awful bus stop murder of a Fredericksburg, Virginia mom, 41-year old Stephanie Minter, at the hands of an illegal alien from Sierra Leone. Her death adds to the long list of such victims we’ve seen in recent times, including Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley, and Rachel Morin.
Minter’s killing occurred in Fairfax County, and now there’s another one:
The man accused of fatally stabbing a person in Bailey's Crossroads in Fairfax County on Sunday is an illegal immigrant, law enforcement sources tell 7News Reporter Nick Minock.
Sources tell 7News that Anibal Armando Chavarria Muy, 38, is from Guatemala.
Muy faces a second-degree murder charge after he was arrested by Fairfax County police. He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
Police said Muy fatally stabbed a man who was found inside a home with multiple stab wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Muy left the scene before officers arrived. The victim and Muy knew each other, according to investigators.

What makes this all the more frustrating is that the local “authorities” could help prevent these types of tragedies, but they don’t:
On Monday, 7News asked Fairfax County Sheriff Stacey Kincaid's office if they are going to cooperate with federal immigration officials on this case. 7News has not received a response from Kincaid's office. Kincaid chooses not to honor ICE detainers and warrants, even when it comes to violent illegal immigrants.
This is the second recent fatal stabbing involving an illegal immigrant in Fairfax County.
As my colleague Teri Christoph reported, meanwhile, prosecutors had ample opportunity to take Minter’s killer off the streets, but failed to do so — time after time after time:
Stephanie Minter, 41, was waiting in a bus shelter last Monday in the Hybla Valley section of Alexandria when she was repeatedly stabbed in the upper body, allegedly by Abdul Jalloh, 32, an illegal from Sierra Leone. In addition to being an illegal with a final removal order dating back to 2020, Jalloh has rap sheet a mile long and has been released 30 times by Steve Descano, the commonwealth's attorney for Fairfax County.
Yes, you read that correctly – the man accused of murdering Stephanie Minter had previously been arrested 30 times for committing an array of violent crimes, and was repeatedly allowed to walk after serving little-to-no time for his offenses. And Fairfax County apparently never once contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove this vile person from the country.
Absolutely infuriating.

It is common sense. ICE is calling on Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger and Virginia's sanctuary politicians to not release this murderer back into our communities.
Although Virginia is not officially a sanctuary state, it might as well be after Gov. Abigail Spanberger terminated agreements to cooperate with ICE. Sanctuary policies are literally killing people, and Democrats simply don’t care. Meanwhile, Spanberger, who campaigned as “reasonable,” has proven to be anything but and has lurched so hard to the Left since her November '25 election victory that she almost fell over.
I’d call on Abigail to change the state’s stance on illegal immigration, but that would be about as effective as howling into the wind. Democrats care more about illegal aliens than they do about American citizens.
