VA Mother Brutally Murdered at Bus Stop After Soros Prosecutor Let Violent Illegal Walk 30 Times

We've got another enraging story for you out of Virginia, this time about the senseless murder of a mother from Fredericksburg who was knifed to death last week while waiting in a bus shelter. That, alone, is reason to be angry, but the story gets much, much worse as you peel back the layers. Unsurprisingly, at the heart of the story is a Soros-backed commonwealth's attorney who's becoming infamous for releasing violent criminals back into his community.

Stephanie Minter, 41, was waiting in a bus shelter last Monday in the Hybla Valley section of Alexandria when she was repeatedly stabbed in the upper body, allegedly by Abdul Jalloh, 32, an illegal from Sierra Leone. In addition to being an illegal with a final removal order dating back to 2020, Jalloh has rap sheet a mile long and has been released 30 times by Steve Descano, the commonwealth's attorney for Fairfax County.

A Soros-Backed DA Just Let a Violent Illegal Walk Free – Hours Later, There's a Murder Investigation

Yes, you read that correctly – the man accused of murdering Stephanie Minter had previously been arrested 30 times for committing an array of violent crimes, and was repeatedly allowed to walk after serving little-to-no time for his offenses. And Fairfax County apparently never once contacted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove this vile person from the country.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) offered some additional details on Jalloh:

Jalloh is an illegal alien from Sierra Leone who entered the U.S. illegally in 2012.

His criminal history includes more than 30 arrests for charges of rape, malicious wounding, assault, drug possession, identity theft, trespassing, larceny, firing a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and pick pocketing.

ICE previously lodged a detainer against Jalloh in 2020, and he was granted a final order of removal by a judge who found he could be removed to any country other than Sierra Leone. This case illustrated the importance of third country removals to get criminal illegal aliens out of the U.S.

We've written about Steve Descano before, and every time it was because his pro-criminal, pro-illegal alien prosecutorial (or lack thereof) style had enabled bad guys, particularly of the illegal kind, to keep doing bad-guy things. Here's everything you need to know about Descano:

Since taking office in January, 2020 Commonwealth’s Attorney Descano and his team have embarked on a groundbreaking reform agenda. The office has implemented policies that make our community safer while addressing racial and socioeconomic inequities in our criminal justice system, stemming the tide of mass incarceration, and elevating a holistic, values-based approach to prosecution over a reflexively punitive one.

Stephanie Minter was not a perfect person, but she deserved better than what she got from Steve Descano. I was able to track down two of her Facebook pages, and they told the story of a woman turning to God amidst a desperate struggle with sobriety. She was trying to improve her life, and often faltering, but there seemed to be a certain determination she had to rehabilitate herself. Maybe she would have been successful and maybe she wouldn't have, but she deserved the chance to try.

By contrast, Abdul Jalloh – who shouldn't have even been here – stole, cheated, and attacked others with absolutely no intention of become a better person. And, for that, Steve Descano repeatedly rewarded Jalloh with his freedom – something Stephanie Minter no longer enjoys.

The murder of Stephanie Minter was entirely preventable. Yet, instead of marches demanding justice for her, or wall-to-wall media coverage shaming the officials who enabled her alleged killer, there will likely be little more than a shrug from the "public servants" who never seem to pay a price for their failures. Virginians – and, indeed, all Americans – should be furious, and they should remember Stephanie’s name the next time soft-on-crime, pro-illegal alien politicians try to sell their “reform” agenda as compassion.

Editor’s Note: The American people overwhelmingly support President Trump’s law and order agenda.
