Hollywood Republican — and, also, oddly, former Democratic Governor of California — Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a big announcement about the President of the United States in October’s issue of Men’s Health: Donald Trump wants to be him.
In fact, according to the 72-year-old star, Trump’s “in love” with him.
And that’s real talk:
“That’s the reality of it. With Trump, he wants to be me. I don’t think he fears me. But I remember that in the old days, when we went to the wrestling matches, the way he admired people with bodies, and the way they would jump around in the ring, and to perform physical stunts and stuff like that — he had great admiration for that.”
There’s been a bit of friction between the two for quite some time.
When The Apprentice brought on Arnold as its new host, Trump’s competitive spirit came out in…well, let’s say bold fashion:
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show

In turn, Arnie set out to terminate POTUS:

As pointed out by The Daily Wire, Schwarzenegger even placed the show’s tanking on Trump.
From an interview in Variety:
“I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone — from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department — was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn’t have this baggage. With Trump being involved in the show, people have a bad taste and don’t want to participate as a spectator or as a sponsor or in any other way support the show. It’s a very divisive period now, and I think this show got caught up in all that division.”
Do you think he’s right? Did the the new host or the old host sink the show?
Either way, there’s evidently still some bad blood.
So who ya got?? A Democrat who became a Republican running the nation, or a Republican who became a Democratic running California?
I think maybe Arnold tried to stay firm, but he appeared to take less than an immovable stance in Sacramento.
Now he’s standing against Trump. And, if he’s right, Cupid’s arrow’s been drawn.
I guess it makes sense that Donald’s in love with Arnold, a white man — as we all know, the Commander-in-Chief absolutely hates women and minorities.
