Could Europe, as a continent, be about to take the steps that may save it? Save the various peoples and cultures of Europe from the greatest danger they have faced since the days of Charles Martel?
Maybe. If they do, it's because they took a cue from America's President Trump.
Earlier in June, the European Union appeared to finally react to concerns raised by President Donald Trump and many European voters over illegal immigration by introducing tougher border entry rules for the 27-nation bloc.
The EU agreed on new, stricter rules regarding migration and asylum. The laws are specifically designed to ensure that illegal/undocumented migrants who enter the bloc are processed and, where necessary, quickly sent to deportation centers in countries outside the EU.
Well, that's certainly more than a bit overdue. Europe has invited in a hostile horde, people from various low-trust societies where human rights, liberty, and property aren't even in the dictionary - and they got the results one might predict. They welcomed them in, clothed and fed them, gave them free housing; everything but the keys to the city and the nuclear launch codes.
Maybe the free ride is over now?
People seeking asylum will be screened for identity, security, and their health before even entering any asylum system. The border officials will now track and record non-EU citizens entering and exiting the bloc. Plus, it will use biometric data such as fingerprints and facial recognition. And all member states must now help one another and share information.
The Associated Press reported that the provisional deal struck by the EU's three main institutions is expected to go to EU lawmakers and governments, where approval is expected.
So, it looks like the asylum system isn't going away. The immigrants will just find new ways to game any screening system.

Trump's New Order Targets the Money Behind Illegal Immigration
While Europe’s workaday men and women have clearly seen the problems of illegal immigration for years, their leaders are only just getting the message.
President Donald Trump told world leaders about the damage caused by a flood of undocumented migrants into Europe during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly last year. "You’re destroying your countries," he said. "Europe is in serious trouble; they’ve been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody’s ever seen before."
That and then some. Just improving screening efforts for "asylum seekers" won't be enough. Tracking "migrants" won't be enough. The nations of the EU, as well as the United Kingdom, need to close their doors. They need to start repatriating people who entered the various nations illegally. And, most of all, they need to cut off the flow of goodies. Europe's generous welfare benefits are a huge magnet. Illegal aliens are accepting those benefits happily.
Cut off the benefits, and you cut off the flow of "migrants." That's the lesson that Europe has to learn.
The bad thing is that it's probably already too late. Let's face it, the soft-shelled invertebrates that make up most of the political classes of the nations of Europe aren't going to engage in mass repatriations. And the European people, like so many developed world societies, are poised on the edge of a demographic death spiral. The "migrants" suffer from no such issue.
Europe, with a few exceptions, like Poland, is in danger of being swallowed alive, and it may well be too late to save it.
Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
