What is it with these leftists who always profess their non-violent nature right after beating up a conservative reporter or counter-protestor? I mean, when was the last time you heard of a conservative activist beating up a lefty and then pleading they are non-violent?
Case in point: Chris Ostroushko, who shoved TPUSA reporter Savanah Hernandez to the ground at a Minnesota "f*** ICE" protest she was covering, who now is claiming he and his family are "non-violent."

He doesn't look like the warm, fuzzy, touchy-feely type, does he? Aside from his looking like a thumb, his expression doesn't exactly exude friendliness. He was, remember, caught on camera shoving a woman half his size to the ground, causing her injuries that required medical treatment. Folks, that's an act of violence, no matter how you look at it.
A Minnesota father caught on camera shoving conservative reporter Savanah Hernandez to the ground during a chaotic anti-ICE protest says he was defending his wife and daughter and insists his family is “absolutely not violent.”
“We are absolutely not violent people. In fact, we tend to shy away from it,” Chris Ostroushko told podcast host Brian Shapiro in his first interview since the viral incident.
“In fact, that day, you’ll see I was not even up in the front at all during this whole event. I just stayed back and kind of watched what was going on,” he added.
Horse squeeze. He was close enough to the front to shove a young woman half his size to the ground. That's after his daughter was blowing a whistle loudly at Ms. Hernandez, at very close range, which may well constitute assault. When Hernandez tried to block the younger Ostroushko from her attempts to deafen, that's when Chris Ostroushko struck.

Hernandez was covering the protest for “f— ICE day” when she says demonstrators surrounded her after realizing she was affiliated with Turning Point USA, the conservative organization founded by Charlie Kirk.
As a reporter does, of course. Journalism is becoming an outright dangerous business in our major cities these days, what with all these violent leftist agitators. And Savanah Hernandez wasn't just roughed up, she had serious injuries. Fortunately, it looks like the "non-violent" Ostroushkos may be called to account for their attacks.
Hernandez said she later sought medical treatment.
“Yeah, I went and I sought medical attention and they did tell me that I do have a concussion and multiple sprains,” she told Fox News Digital.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon and Vice President JD Vance have also confirmed that the FBI has opened an investigation into the assault on Hernandez.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News Digital that the case remains under investigation and that it recommended charges Monday against Paige Marie Ostroushko, Lorenzo Amadeo Garcia and Christopher Ostroushko in connection with the assault of a journalist.
A Minneapolis-based jury may be sympathetic to the Ostroushkos, but it doesn't seem likely that the federal Justice Department will be so inclined.

As for Mr. Ostroushko's claim that his daughter was attacked first, that's the purest of stuff you find on the south side of a northbound horse.

In any sane jurisdiction, that's called battery. But yeah, Mr. Ostroushko is non-violent. Just ask him, he'll tell you.And, yeah, he still looks like a thumb.
