If you've been following along, you've seen a lot of reporting of rampant fraud in our country, ranging from welfare fraud to Medicare fraud to... well, you name it. We've seen some shocking numbers, and we've seen some pretty unrepentant Democrats willing to just let it all go away. Minnesota seems to be ground zero for possibly billions in fraud, and a lot of that money has gone overseas, to Somalia and other places.
We've also seen some pretty big names implicated, as my colleague Bonchie reported just days ago:
President Trump has decided to do something about it. On Wednesday, he took to his Truth Social platform to announce a new appointment and a new division at the Department of Justice.

The president writes:
I am pleased to nominate Colin McDonald to serve as the first ever Assistant Attorney General for National FRAUD Enforcement, a new Division at the Department of Justice, which I created to catch and stop FRAUDSTERS that have been STEALING from the American People. My Administration has uncovered Fraud schemes in States like Minnesota and California, where these thieves have stolen Hundreds of Billions of Taxpayer Dollars. Colin McDonald is a very Smart, Tough, and Highly Respected AMERICA FIRST Federal Prosecutor who has successfully delivered Justice in some of the most difficult and high stakes cases our Country has ever seen. Together, we will END THE FRAUD, and RESTORE INTEGRITY to our Federal Programs. Congratulations Colin — STOP THE SCAMS!
This seems a logical answer to just the fraud that's already been uncovered, the rampant fraud of our taxpayers' money that has to have been going on for years. And it's not just in Minnesota. It's in California, it's in Illinois, it's all over.

These kinds of schemes don't just spring into being overnight. Not at this scale. Not with this many people involved. Not in this many places. Furthermore, it's a near-certainty that we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in this fraud scandal, which could be resulting in rip-offs in the billions. And, as has happened in Minnesota, a lot of this money has very likely gone overseas, to Somalia, to Venezuela, to Russia, who knows?
Resolving this has to go way beyond just catching the people who are doing this now, trying them, and imprisoning them. This goes beyond shutting down the ongoing frauds. This new division will have to work with the agencies being ripped off and close the doors that have been left open that allowed this kind of thing to happen.
Colin McDonald has a big job ahead of him. He'll need good people working with him, and we wish him all the best, because the full force of the left, who don't want this money spigot turned off, will be opposing him.
And, since I'm already on my way back to this well, remember this: If the Republicans lose the elections in 2026 and 2028, Colin McDonald and his new division will be shut down, no matter what they have achieved. Anything done by Orange Man Bad will be shut down. Need a reason to make sure you go vote? Here's reason number 12,928,283.
