This past week, U.S. Border Patrol agents working near Del Rio, Texas, and Rio Grande Valley, Texas, apprehended (among others) four known criminals trying to enter the United States illegally. Of the four, two were known child sex offenders, one was a convicted murderer, and the other was convicted for endangering the welfare of a child.
In a post on X, Chief of the US Border Patrol Jason Owens posted the picture of two men and said, "USBP agents in Del Rio, TX & Rio Grande Valley, TX nabbed two child sex offenders with prior felony convictions."

This is another facet of President Biden and his administration's utter failure to secure our southern border. In this case, we do know who these men are, where they are coming from, and what they are likely to do - and we don't want them here.
The question is, how many more like them (or worse) have evaded capture and made their way into the United States? And when, if ever, will anyone responsible for this mess face any consequences for their failure?

There is, now, an immigration deal making its way through Congress. But no deal is needed; the Executive Branch has all the legal authority it requires to close the border today. Instead, the doors are open wide, the Biden Administration is passing the buck, and we continue to have floods of unknowns coming into the United States from pretty much everywhere. What's even more astounding is that politicians in blue cities are asking residents to take illegal aliens into their homes, which demonstrates a stunning lack of good sense.

Kudos to the Border Patrol for catching these bad guys - and for all they are doing, working under a presidential administration that is hostile to their mission, unsupporting of their work, and attempting to undermine their reason for existing at every turn. These four malefactors, at least, were thwarted, and that is an unalloyed good thing.
