I'm Worried About James Carville, Being That He Is All Over the Board on Trump in Just the Past Week

Townhall Media

Officially getting a little bit worried about our favorite bald Ragin' Cajun from the South, James Carville. I know that as we all grow older, we start to lose a step or two, maybe three, but in James' case he seems to be on a bit of a roller coaster right now in terms of his political prognostications.

I don't know if I can live in a world where a Carville is not spot-on.

I can actually, because he got lucky one time in 1992, and it's been pretty much downhill ever since.

What I'm talking about is just the other day I wrote an article here at RedState where Carville was absolutely adamant that Trump and his team were rolling so well he was worried about how Democrats were going to tackle their popularity.

See: James Carville Is 'Worried' About How Good Donald Trump Is Looking in Polling; He Thinks It's Bad for US

From that article...

So when I heard that James was on a podcast Thursday and was expressing concerns about Donald Trump, of course, I had to stop and read all about it. Even though podcasts are audio, I decided to read about what he said. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me after 30 seconds. I read it HERE

Democratic strategist James Carville disclosed during a Thursday podcast that his “only hope” for countering President Donald Trump’s administration is that Americans will turn on it — but the president currently enjoys strong support.

Oh. So, how does that make James feel?

I’m worried about the future of the United States, and I’m not exactly sure how we can deal with this, but deal with it we’re going to have to. That said, it’s a good question and I struggle with the answer … In Trump One, we had some non-crazy people of which he made sure we weren’t going to repeat that.

Carville wants the rank and file of the Democratic Party to quote, unquote, lead the direction that the party needs it go in? That is a bold strategy, but it could work. Now, radicals, absolute crazed individuals who believe that biological men can act like biological women, and that it should be accepted universally and by the force of law, have the upper hand with the Democrats.

In just a couple of days, Carville is no longer worried about how Democrats will tackle Trump and his popularity; he is already claiming that MAGA is burning and crashing.

Which I read about right HERE.

Democratic strategist James Carville thinks the Trump administration has collapsed in less than three months.

During a recent appearance on CNN host Michael Smerconish’s program, Carville declared that President Donald Trump’s second term had become a failure sooner than he predicted it would.

“I had no idea. I thought I’d have to wait longer for the imminent collapse. It happened even faster than I could imagine,” the former Bill Clinton adviser said.

Smerconish brought up the topic, mentioning Carville’s recent prediction in The New York Times that the Trump administration would fall apart.

Say what !?!?!?!?!

I know it's been a bit since Jimmy was relevant in getting anyone elected, but that doesn't mean that I think he should automatically be discarded and forgotten about. He was good for 15 minutes back in 1992, and we should relish and cherish that. Most people would think it was just over his famous quote, "It's the economy, stupid," but if you recall, he came up with the phrase after the bimbo eruption.

It perfectly fit all the activity going on around Bill Clinton at the time.

Yet now it seems that James is suffering a bit from "the Trump has me confused and scared" camp, which of course he would deny, but he wouldn't understand why he's denying it. Thankfully, somebody that Mr. Carville is familiar with was very public in his recent admission that Donald Trump had broken him in half and left him politically for dead. I also wrote about that below.

More: MSNBC Host Lawrence O'Donnell Is Exhausted Covering Donald Trump and Needs More Time Off

Speculation about The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell being canceled began when O’Donnell missed Monday’s broadcast. Several viewers took to social media to inquire about the host’s whereabouts and his expected return. Many assumed that he would be back this week after his scheduled week off. But his absence now appears to have been extended. O’Donnell has yet to address his absence on Monday.

For those unfamiliar, O’Donnell previously revealed to Rachel Maddow that he would be stepping away for a week from his hosting duties because he was “exhausted” from covering Donald Trump. He also praised Maddow’s dedication to hosting her show daily for 100 days during Trump’s second term—a shift from her usual once-a-week format.

“This is day 52. I thought it was day 92. It turns out it’s day 52, Rachel, and I’m exhausted at day 52, so I’m going to take next week off. And I’m telling you that now because I know you don’t like it when I just drift away. I’m just taking next week off, then I can come back and go with you all the way to the hundred days,” he said.

Maybe James and Lawrence and my favorite over at MSNBC - Rachel Maddow - can all get together and do a therapy session about how Donald Trump has absolutely broken them. From somebody who covers the news, I actually do feel a little bit of sympathy for them because Trump is moving at such speed that it seems as if he wants to cram all four years into his first 365 days.

 Admittedly, that could be tiring.

Yet I'm here to say suck it up, cupcakes.

You'll live, and if you take a moment to stop and appreciate it, you will understand that you are observing the first president who is created for the office and also is utilizing social media and the manner it should be done.

So take a deep breath and enjoy it.

Also, James, get better soon.
