Hoooooo boy, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders are mad and going around the country to talk to people who are also mad as hell. The two superstar leftist progressives are currently touring the country on their Fighting Oligarchy campaign, which is not going to get anyone elected.

Yet.

I would say the people attending are flocking to see millionaires complain about billionaires is kinda like like watching professional athletes complain about the billionaire owners and try to garner sympathy for their view. However, sports teams and the people who play them do not create legislation that harms the general public in the name of righteousness and/or fairness.

So what is going on here?

The left has been losing their minds, it seems, since January 20th of this year, and Trump has been hitting the gas pedal with executive orders and DOGE cuts in an attempt to fight back against the efforts of folks like Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez.

Remember, 75 million people voted for one of the most unqualified individuals (Kamala Harris) to ever run for office, let alone the top job in the nation. Now, depending on the news reports, they're getting hundreds of people or thousands and possibly tens of thousands of attendees, and I do not doubt that there are devoted people who are opposed to Donald Trump on a knee-jerk reaction level.

Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez are taking advantage of this along with some other top Democrats and are willing to criticize leadership in their party, which is so much fun to watch.

From that article...

Tensions between prominent Democrat leaders grew Friday, as former Speaker Nancy Pelosi rebuked Senate Leader Chuck Schumer for caving on the Republican continuing resolution (CR). At the same time, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries refused to comment on his future as a leader.

The striking remarks by Pelosi (D-CA) and the lack of response by Jeffries (D-NY) speak volumes about how disappointed they are with Schumer's actions. They also indicate that, like Schumer (D-NY) initially, they are strongly advocating for a government shutdown.

"America has experienced a Trump shutdown before — but this damaging legislation only makes matters worse. Democrats must not buy into this false choice. We must fight back for a better way. Listen to the women, For The People," Pelosi said in a statement.

I have been sitting and wondering what exactly is the end goal here.

What I said above is true that certain people in the Democratic Party will just have a bad knee-jerk reaction to anything Trump does, including announcing there's a cure for cancer. They are tapping into the rage of the 75 million people who voted for a dolt and believe that Donald Trump is going to take away their favorite right. They are getting people riled up so that they keep their base agitated and on point.

I was wondering what these folks are so ticked off about. Did four years of the junk that Joe Biden auto-penned into legislation not make your life blissful enough? I read about what some of these folks who love what Bernie and AOC are attempting and attended the rally right HERE

“We want to hear what the plans are - are we just going to be sitting on our behinds, talking a lot? Or are we actually going to be doing something?” said Leanna Terrell, a 75-year-old retired Navy intelligence officer who attended Thursday’s rally with a half-dozen girlfriends whom she met while volunteering for Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign last year. “I’m scared to death for my country.”

As President Donald Trump has issued rapid-fire executive orders, presided over mass firings of federal employees and mapped out potential cuts to once-untouchable programs like Social Security, Democrats have struggled to coalesce around one message.

As Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez travel across Western states on their “fighting oligarchy” tour, they are channeling the anger and frustration many Democrats feel as they watch Trump delegate enormous power to Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla who was his top donor during the 2024 campaign. Frustration with party leadership came to a head late last week when Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-New York) and eight other Democratic senators caved to GOP demands by backing Republican spending legislation to avoid a government shutdown.

I have to admit I'm learning this from their side and looking to remind people of stuff that the Democrats have done and are doing to keep the rational side of the country prepped, which I hope you will also.

Like why is a moderate Democrat acting like a petulant child about two Americans being brought home from space safely by SpaceX? I’m Wondering Why Former NASA Astronaut, Sen. Kelly Didn't Praise SpaceX for Rescuing Stranded Astronauts:

Democrat Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona is a bit of a unique creature as an elected official in Washington D.C. The reason why is this: He is not only married to a former Congressional member who thankfully survived an assassination attempt, but he also was a NASA astronaut who has been to space several times on the space shuttles and has spent time up at the International Space Station.

He understands the major risk and danger that goes into traveling into outer space, and that those of us who keep our feet firmly planted on the ground will never experience that thrill and immense risk.

He has also experienced what ill-guided hatred can do when directed at an everyday citizen or elected politician (his wife), and the grace and mercy that normal people can exhibit when a job is well done. There is also the common decency that is shown after or during a tragedy.

Sen. Kelly has a very unique position and view in this regard.

Kinda shameful

How about the Michigan COVID lockdown queen (which was bad enough) is now holding up a special election in Michigan probably because she does not want a tie in the state Senate where the GOP already controls the House chamber.

So Bernie and AOC are out doing what they need to do to keep their base activated and dumbed down. We need to make sure that the base of the GOP, which helped Donald Trump get elected, has information on what every one of these Democrats is doing and it needs to be shared far and wide.

Just letting the Democrats do what they're doing and hoping people will possibly catch the nonsense is not enough anymore. We need to make sure that all of their hijinks -- whether it's Tesla terrorism or continuing to support biological males competing with biological females and holding every elected official or think tank that defends these things -- are exposed.

The Trump administration has just under two years to do some hefty lifting to stop 40 years of mess, and the Democrats are beginning to organize publicly with the oligarchy rallies. We need to make sure that in the future, they can't run from the policies they support.

If that is done successfully, the GOP might be able to hold on to the House and Senate in 2026 and hopefully add on to the numbers they have now.

I know that's a large task but it needs to be done if the country is going to be able to thrive into the future.
