Trump Has a Nasty Surprise Waiting for Mexican Illegal Aliens – and 'Mexico Is Not Happy'

Ever since President Trump got back into office for his second term, a central hallmark of his new administration has been cleaning up the mess made at the southern border by the previous administration. Former President Biden allowed millions of illegal aliens to stream across the border, and federal law enforcement has been busy rectifying that, starting with the most violent illegals.

Efforts by the Trump administration to rid American communities of illegal aliens have yielded positive results so far (although many would like to see more). Here's our own Ward Clark on the record-breaking number of arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in July.

The repatriation of illegal aliens from the United States to wherever they came from is still ongoing, and it seems to be picking up. In July, reports indicate that Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests broke all previous records: 51,000.

Things are moving in the right direction.

An interesting story popped up Tuesday afternoon talking about what is happening to some of those illegals who have been taken into custody by ICE and deported out of the United States. The deportations aren't particularly the story, it's where the illegals – and specifically Mexican illegals – are ending up that is causing heartburn for some left-leaning journos.

Apparently, in an effort to deter them from once again crossing the southern border, Mexican illegals aren't being flown home at all and are, instead, being sent to exotic locales like Guatemala and Honduras.

Oh, the horror,

Here's CBS News:

The Trump administration has been quietly deporting migrants from Mexico to different countries in Central America despite the Mexican government's willingness to accept the return of all its citizens, two Department of Homeland Security officials told CBS News.

Two unnamed administration officials reportedly confirmed that the anywhere-but-Mexico deportations have been happening for months now. And Mexico isn't one bit pleased about the whole thing.

Mexico's Foreign Ministry commented, "The Government of Mexico accepts the return of all its nationals. It therefore rejects the deportation of Mexican nationals to third countries and has no such agreement in place. Mexico consistently takes the steps necessary to ensure the safe and dignified return of all its nationals to national territory."

As a reminder, Mexico provides its citizens with a handy-dandy list on how to enter the U.S. illegally and take full advantage of our welfare and education systems. They don't want their citizens back, of course, but they do want to complain about President Trump's plan for those "citizens."

Trump administration officials have yet to comment publicly on this report, but we know they've worked out deals with other countries to take third-country deportees.

Guatemala, for instance, agreed early in Trump's second term to accept not only its own citizens deported from the United States, but illegal aliens from other countries as well. It shouldn't be a surprise that folks who come here illegally are playing a roulette game on where they'll end up if deported.

Adam Isacson of the left-leaning Washington Office on Latin America called the practice "almost entirely punitive."

Well, yes. That's pretty much the point.

And for Mexican nationals who thought deportation meant a quick trip back across the border and another shot at sneaking into the United States, there may now be a nasty surprise waiting at the end of their repatriation flight.

Mexico may not be happy about it, but most Americans won't be losing any sleep over it.

Editor’s Note: Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
