When last we left the very unhinged Keith Olbermann, he was being schooled by New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers after Olbermann mocked Rodgers and his season-ending (maybe) injury and blamed it on Rodgers not getting the clot shot. To which Rodgers responded, "Get your fifth booster, Keith."
Advantage: Rodgers.
Well, the permanently outraged Olbermann is now big mad about Elon Musk. Ironically, he took to X/Twitter to make his anger known, releasing a video likening Musk and Donald Trump — it wouldn't be an Olbermann rant without a Trump mention! — to Nazis and calling on the federal government to ban the social media platform.
Please note that he put on his Very Serious Person glasses to make the video. With an angry, red face, snarling teeth, and spit flying, Olbermann does his very best Joseph Goebbels imitation:

White House condemns @elonMusk and @X for antisemitism: "unacceptable to promote the hideous lie behind the most fatal act of antisemitism in American history...compromises the safety of our communities"

TRANSCRIPT:
It is time for the government of the United States to ban X, the social media site still largely known as Twitter. And, yes, I get the irony. Scan that QR code to take you to the Friday edition of The Countdown podcast because, with his amplification of a post duplicating the hateful language of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter, with his doubling and tripling down on his antisemitism and white supremacy, and with the likely Republican nominee for president echoing the hate speech of the Nazis and Hitler, Elon Musk is standing over a tinderbox of racial and religious hatred and intolerance and the targeting of "the other" that has never been fuller and never been drier in the history of this country.
The peace and security of the United States is literally at stake. The president, the congress, the state -- or all of them acting together -- must ban Twitter/X and must sever all contracts and contacts with all of Elon Musk's other companies. SpaceX, Tesla, The Boring Company, Neuralink and xAI. Elon Musk has gone down a path of hate and potential violence from which he cannot backtrack. Either he goes or Twitter/X must.
That's a whole lot of insanity to wade through.
Olbermann is clearly off his nut about this interaction on X/Twitter involving Musk. When a user posted, "Jewish communities have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them," Musk responded, "You have said the actual truth." This led to a firestorm of criticism being unleashed on Musk, with many calling him antisemitic for this exchange.
Keith Olbermann obviously feels that Musk went too far, but, ever lacking in self-awareness, he concludes that the best way to handle Musk's free speech is to stifle his free speech. Better yet, take down the entire platform altogether and stifle the free speech of its millions of users. All because Olbermann's panties are in a wad.
Goebbels, the Nazi's chief propagandist, would be proud of Keith Olbermann for this deranged rant. Not only did he get the required "Nazi" and "white supremacist" slanders in, he concludes the only way to handle this matter is to either take a private company away from its owner or have a cabal of government entities swoop in and kill off the company.
If you're thinking Keith Olbermann is the one acting like a Nazi here, you are correct. He should be awarded an Iron Cross for this herculean failure in facts and logic.
And what does Trump have to do with this? Absolutely nothing, but no devoutly Democrat propagandist like Olbermann would miss the chance to use "Nazi" and "Trump" in the same sentence. They are broken beyond repair like that.
They are also broken over the fact that X/Twitter is still a place where conservatives can convene and express their opinions, this despite the left's best efforts to shadow-ban the right into oblivion. This means that Elon Musk is an enemy of Trump-like proportions and must be dealt with swiftly and permanently. Musk makes frequent missteps, no doubt, but he's still a giant of a man, and Keith Olbermann is a tired, old entity far beyond his sell-by date.
Instead of the government actually acting like Nazis and banning a free speech platform, Olbmermann should read the room, recognize that his faux-rage schtick is beyond tiresome, throw a super big "I'm outta here!" rant, and leave Elon Musk's cursed social media platform with all the rage of a toddler who didn't get candy for dinner. It'll never happen, of course, because Keith Olbermann needs Twitter way more than Twitter needs Keith Olbermann.
