According to a report by Fox News, President Trump has canceled the trip by Iran ceasefire negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner that he ordered on Friday; see Another Islamabad Round Begins As Iran Undercuts Ceasefire and Trump Faces Hard Choices – RedState.
In a phone interview with Fox's Aishah Hasnie, President Trump personally pulled the plug on the trip. This is Kayleigh McEnany with the story on Fox's "Saturday in America" show.

President Trump has told our own Aishah Hasnie that he has canceled his envoy’s trip to Pakistan to hold talks with Iran. Aishah Hasnie sending us this direct quote from the president:
"I've told my people a little while ago they were getting ready to leave, and I said, 'Nope, you're not making an 18-hour flight to go there. We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you're not going to be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around talking about nothing'."
This is significant, it came after the trip earlier in the week where we thought the vice president, JD Vance, would be going to hold talks was scuttled. So that is breaking news from our own Aishah Hasnie.
As Winston Churchill said, "To jaw-jaw is better than to war-war." No matter how you come down on how the war started, most people can agree that a negotiated settlement that removes Iran as the locus of terrorism in the Middle East and Southwest Asia and stops the proliferation of nuclear weapons is to the benefit of the world. President Trump has made good-faith efforts to end the war while pursuing that goal. It is to his credit that he has hung tough on his goals and not negotiated them away. It is also good to see that he is not going to have his team made a laughingstock by flying to Islamabad to be snubbed by the Iranians and presented with impossible demands; see Tehran Snubs U.S. Delegation, Demands End to Blockade as Islamabad Talks Stall Again – RedState.
As I reported on Thursday, the USS George H. W. Bush carrier strike group was chopped to U. S. Central Command (Trump’s Iran Ceasefire Wavers As Tehran Stalls, Hardliners Rise, and U.S. Goals Remain Unmet – RedState). This makes three carrier strike groups available in the theater of operations.
For the first time in decades, three aircraft carriers are operating in the Middle East at the same time. Accompanied by their carrier air wings, the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) and USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) include over 200 aircraft and 15,000… pic.twitter.com/fbMdz1IYn8

It's time to put them to work.
