#1 - Boom: CNN Host Obliterates Dem Narrative About Removing Trump From Office — by Nick Arama

However, in another way, the Democratic reactions may have helped Trump and convinced the Iranians that Trump was going to drop "hell" on them as he promised. He had already been pounding them as it was. But you had people like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA-11) calling on the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment because of Trump's "civilization will die" comment about Iran.

The Democrats' freak-out over some of Trump's language may have accidentally served his purpose of forcing Iran to the negotiating table. The regime put people out on their bridges - clearly, they thought Trump was going to follow through and were concerned. They know for sure he isn't the weak Joe Biden or Barack Obama, neither of whom seemed to know how to enforce red lines. Now, we'll see what comes out of the talks. That's still a question, since Iran isn't an honest actor.

#2 - This Could Get Interesting Real Fast: Hennepin County DA Issues Arrest Warrant for ICE Agent — by Bob Hoge

But Hennepin County District Attorney Mary Moriarty just upped the stakes on Thursday by charging an ICE agent — 35-year-old Gregory Donnell Morgan Jr. — with two felony counts of second-degree assault for actions he committed… while on duty.

Moriarty, the first LGBTQ person to fill the role, a fact that the media constantly reminds us of as if that makes any difference to her law enforcement abilities, delivered a stern press conference where she said, “There is now a warrant for Mr. Morgan's arrest, which allows law enforcement to arrest him anywhere in the country.”

#3 - Bessent Delivers Another Powerful Blow to Iran - Reveals What May Be Their 'Fatal Mistake' — by Nick Arama

Bessent explained that the neighbors were now being "much more transparent in terms of the funds" or willing to "do a deeper dive in investigating the funds that are held within their banking systems" from the Iranian regime.

"So, we have pushed out to them the request that we want to freeze more funds of the leadership of the IRGC, and any members of Iranian leadership."

If Iran is expecting any money back from the oil sales they've made, they may be out of luck there as well.

"The other thing that we have done is we have told companies, we have told countries that if you are buying Iranian oil, that if Iranian money is sitting in your banks, we are now willing to apply secondary sanctions, which is a very stern measure."

"The Iranians should know that this is going to be the financial equivalent of what we saw in the kinetic activities."

#4 - Iran Sounds Like It's Scrambling to Save Face in Response to Trump's Action in the Strait — by Nick Arama

Well, first, they weren't able to stop the two ships that had already gone through. Then, second, if it's supposed to be open, as they agreed to according to the ceasefire, and ships are addressing the question of the mines they claim they left in the Strait, they should be happy we're helping them fulfill their obligation.

Then, too, it sounded like the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian realized that they'd overplayed a weak hand, because he told Russian President Vladimir Putin during a call that he thought achieving a deal was "not out of reach." Trump predicted they would be forced to "come back and they give us everything we want."

#5 - Eric Swalwell Continues to Crash and Burn As Billionaire Boots Him From Mansion He Was Hiding In — by Bob Hoge

California Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-14) has just seen one of the most stunning political implosions you will ever see. Just days ago, he was the frontrunner in the California gubernatorial race, but on Friday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on extremely serious sexual allegations against the congressman, and since then, his world has imploded.

Almost every person or organization who endorsed him has rescinded their support, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has opened an investigation, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) has indicated she’s going to file a motion to expel him from Congress, and the pugnacious Rep. finally gave into the overwhelming outcry Sunday and dropped his bid to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom, who will (thankfully), be termed out in early 2027.

But it only got worse for Swalwell on Sunday. He had been holed up at his billionaire friends’ house, where he filmed his already infamous “I didn’t do it!” video Friday. But now that guy, too, is throwing him to the wind.
