Watch: Tim Walz's Response When Questioned About MN Fraud Scandal Explains Exactly Why He Lost

Tim Walz has an unerring ability to say things that don't answer the questions and make him look even worse.

MN DHS Employees Spill the Tea on Gov. Tim Walz's 'Inveterate' Lying, Complicity in Somali Fraud

Hoo boy! That's gonna leave a mark. DHS-E clearly pinpointed what the rest of America discovered in 2024, as Gov. "Jazz Hands" pranced around on the campaign trail claiming he was the epitome of leadership and masculinity, and that our current VP, JD Vance, was "weird."

Trump's Ultimatum to Maduro: Flee Now or Face American Forces

Nicolás Maduro is almost certainly looking at his last days running Venezuela. And here's the thing: Unlike many times in history when a dictator is defenestrated and leaves a vacuum of power, in Venezuela there is a political opposition that is more suited to set up a true representative government.

Remembering the 'Walk of Death' and How It Destroys Gun Control Mythology

My question for the gun control advocates out there is this: Just how can you tell me we could stop mass murders like this one when literally nothing you're proposing would have made any impact here.

No, It's Not Racist to Pause Third-World Immigration

If we are going to have a rational conversation about how to create an immigration policy that works, we need to drop the cries of "racism." We are at this point because liberals have created a crisis, and a backlash was inevitable. It happened in the Nordic countries, and is happening in the rest of the West.

The Story of the Dem Who Texted with Epstein During Hearing Just Got a Lot More Sordid

The Daily Wire reported Sunday, with a matter-of-factness that is positively breathtaking under the circumstances, that Plaskett “had ‘private nude images’ of her stolen by her own ex-staffers, who used them to attempt to sabotage her re-election campaign. The husband of one of the culprits was, like Epstein, later found dead.” With all that going on, what’s a little texting with Jeffrey Epstein?

How This Dem Senator Dug His Own Grave During This Sunday Morning Interview

Democrats have nowhere to go, so they’ve manufactured this crisis where President Trump has issued illegal orders. To clarify a crucial point here: President Trump has not done that. When pressed, these Democrats fold, because they’re peddling a hoax.

WOMP, WOMP: Poor Harry Sisson Thinks the 'Tide Is Turning' on Trump; There's Just One Problem

As evil and horrible as many leftists are, a huge number of them, like Sisson, are also galactically stupid.

WHAT'S ON TAP?

Today on Capitol Hill...

The critters are back, and there are plenty of hearings and meetings on tap for the week, though Monday just has one:

  • The House Rules Committee meets to consider H.R. 1005 – Combating the Lies of Authoritarians in School Systems Act; H.R. 1069 – PROTECT Our Kids Act; H.R. 1049 – Transparency in Reporting of Adversarial Contributions to Education Act; H.R. 2965 – Small Business Regulatory Reduction Act of 2025; H.R. 4305 – DUMP Red Tape Act; H.R. 4312 – SCORE Act

Republican Rep. Troy Nehls (TX-22) announced on Saturday that he won't be seeking reelection, but his twin brother Trever has stepped up to say he'll be running for the seat instead.

Oh, and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) apparently tied the knot over the weekend.

White House What's Up

President Trump is back at the White House following a long holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago. On Monday, he'll be signing bills in the afternoon.

White House Press Secretary will host a press briefing at 1:00 PM Eastern.

Keeping Up With the Cabinet

Sec. Transportation - Sean Duffy — In addition to promoting the return of civility to air travel, Duffy recently shared a video with tips for reducing holiday travel stress.

Full Court Press...

The courts were a bit quiet for the holiday, but that didn't put a damper on D.C. District Court Judge James Boasberg's zeal for holding the DOJ in contempt over those March removal flights to El Salvador

  • J.G.G. v. Trump (TdA/AEA removals) — Judge James Boasberg orders admin to file "declaration(s) identifying all individuals involved in the decision not to halt the transfer of class members out of U.S. physical custody on March 15 and 16, 2025” as part of contempt proceedings.

The Supreme Court will be back to hearing oral arguments on Monday:

  1. Cox Communications Inc. v. Sony Music Entertainment — Did the Fourth Circuit err in holding that a service provider can be held liable for "materially contributing" to copyright infringement merely because it knew that people were using certain accounts to infringe and did not terminate access, without proof that the service provider affirmatively fostered infringement or otherwise intended to promote it?
  2. Urias-Orellana v. Bondi — Whether a federal court of appeals must defer to the Board of Immigration Appeals' judgment that a given set of undisputed facts does not demonstrate mistreatment severe enough to constitute "persecution" under 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(42).

MORNING MUSING

I can't decide if I've just gone full tinfoil hat or depressingly cynical, but it's impossible for me not to see the coordinated efforts between the Democrats, the entrenched bureaucracy, and the legacy media anymore. Like many, it took me a while to see how the game worked, but now that I've seen it in action (see, e.g., Russia Collusion, COVID censorship, Hunter's wayward laptop), I can't unsee it.

And it's impossible for me to look at the timing of the Seditious Six "Don't Give Up the Ship" video and the WaPo hit piece and sudden concern for Venezuelan drug runners and not conclude they're running the game again.

I'm over it. Enough.

LIGHTER FARE

That wasn't...quite my reaction to our Saturday snowfall.
