Gutfeld's response is so important because it is emblematic of the appropriate level of frustration and disdain conservatives need to be countering the left with on this assassination.

Republicans throughout the nation need to be afraid for their jobs if they refuse to back the Second Amendment, and not just by opposing gun control.
These are the wages of political correctness. The Oxford Union created this crisis for itself by electing a man they all knew beforehand hated its values, and they did so to virtue signal.

He’s right. The left can cry “both sides” until they’re blue in the face, but Americans see through it.

In short, the Left is more violent than conservatives, more likely to justify political violence, and more inclined to celebrate the death of one’s political opponents.
Maybe he should just hand his social media account back over to those hamsters.

Keeping Up With the Cabinet
Sec. Treasury - Scott Bessent — Bessent is taking the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to task for consistently blowing its forecasts.
The Atlanta Fed projects 3%+ of real GDP growth in Q3. Private forecasters, meanwhile, project 2% growth this quarter. Yet the CBO remains stuck in a recessionary fantasy.

MORNING MUSING
In Monday's musing, I shared a bit of my "process" in composing these daily missives — the words that spoke to me yesterday morning: "Vengeance is [not] mine." Although I am a Bible-believing Christian, I am not one who is comfortable rattling off verses (not that the Bible or the verses themselves make me uncomfortable — I simply don't have a deep enough familiarity with them that they come to me easily the way they do for some).
And yet, today, I'm back with another one, as the words that speak to me are: "Guard your heart." I had to look that one up, of course, to verify its source (Proverbs 4:23). Fortunately, I have my study Bible close at hand. Normally, it sits on my living room bookshelf. Sometime last week — maybe Wednesday evening, I'm not sure — I retrieved it and it's been sitting here next to my work desk ever since. I've found myself referring to it several times over the past few days.
So, why "Guard your heart"? I think because we've been witnessing such a barrage of ugliness emanating from people's mouths (and keyboards). The full verse (and the following one) read:
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
I think it's there to remind me not to follow the crowd down the rabbit hole of hatred. I need to hold onto that one. I understand the impulse to fight fire with fire — I truly do. But I also recognize the danger of being consumed by it.
