There's More Than One DNC Plant in Fani Willis' Office, and This One Is Married to a Top GA Politician

There's an overwhelming amount of evidence at this point that Willis' office is being operated in an entirely unethical and partisan manner, including multiple avenues for coordination with the White House and the Democratic National Committee, and every indictment coming out of the tainted process should be dismissed.

It Sure Doesn't Look Like Terrance Bradley Did Fani Willis Any Favors With His Testimony

McAfee has scheduled further arguments on the matter for Friday afternoon, after which time, he'll have to issue a ruling as to whether Willis and Wade may remain on the case or their relationship presents a conflict of interest necessitating their removal. In either event, their relationship and credibility issues have now further undermined an already shaky case.

• Energy and Natural Resources - Hearings to examine the opportunities and challenges associated with developing geologic hydrogen in the United States
• Budget - Hearings to examine reproductive health care 
• Foreign Relations - Hearings to examine Tehran's shadow army, focusing on addressing Iran's proxy network in the Middle East
• Judiciary - Hearings to examine preventing deaths of incarcerated individuals in Federal prisons

No committee meetings for the House today, but First Son Hunter Biden will be sitting for a closed-door deposition with the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees. That's virtually certain to produce some fireworks. (Cue Dan Goldman (D-NY) running to the cameras to assure the media all is well and Hunter's a choir boy.)

President Biden is set to meet with Detroit Police Chief James White "to discuss the city's historic crime reductions last year."

Two more cases are set for oral argument before the Supreme Court on Wednesday: 

1. Garland v. Cargill - Examining whether a bump stock device is a "machinegun" as defined in 26 U.S.C. 5845(b) because it is designed and intended for use in converting a rifle into a machinegun, i.e., into a weapon that fires "automatically more than one shot * * * by a single function of the trigger."
2. Coinbase, Inc. v. Suski - At issue: Whether, where parties enter into an arbitration agreement with a delegation clause, an arbitrator or a court should decide whether that arbitration agreement is narrowed by a later contract that is silent as to arbitration and delegation.

Elsewhere, Bryan Kohberger, the 29-year-old man charged with killing four University of Idaho students in 2022, is due in court for a hearing to determine when and where he will stand trial. 

Also, Cook County Judge Tracie Porter is expected to issue a decision regarding the 14th Amendment challenge to Donald Trump's inclusion on the ballot in Illinois. 

MORNING MUSING

In a (totally not) shocking turn of events, Donald Trump won the Michigan GOP presidential primary running away (by 40 points with nearly 60 percent of the vote in). Likewise, did Joe Biden for the Dems. And in the irony of all ironies, the least suspenseful presidential primary season ever also offers the strongest likelihood that one (possibly both) of the foregone conclusions won't actually be on the ballot come November. What a mad, mad, mad, mad world we live in!
