As RedState's Becky Noble reported earlier, things took a concerning turn in New Jersey on Election Day when several polling locations had to close amid reports of bomb threats, with some locations eventually reopening and some voters being shuffled to other polling locations.
The Garden State's attorney general, Matthew Platkin (D), said in a statement that "certain polling places in Bergen, Essex, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Passaic counties" had received threats by email and that LEOs "worked swiftly to secure these polling locations and ensure the safety of every voter."
Fortunately, Democrat Lt. Gov. Tahesha Way noted on social media that ultimately, "law enforcement determined there is no credible threat at this time." The authorities in Bergen County backed this up, sharing that the threats were likely hoaxes.

Not surprisingly, Democrat Socialist Zohran Mamdani, the leading candidate in the New York City mayoral race, rushed to blame President Trump amid reports that some polling places in the Big Apple had also received threats, stating that "We have to understand this as part of the general approach the Trump administration has taken to trying to intimidate voters."
This, of course, did not sit well with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who skewered Mamdani during the Tuesday press briefing over the baseless accusation:
"I think they are completely irresponsible, and they are based on zero evidence. And I think this is just another example of how the Democrat Party unfortunately stands for nothing. All they stand against is President Donald Trump. And I think it's quite sad to see that we have someone at the top of the ticket on an Election Day today saying such things about the president, when he obviously had absolutely nothing to do with those threats," Leavitt said in response to a question from Fox News' Jacqui Heinrich.

Ya know, this is especially rich coming from the guy who yells "Islamophobia!" every time someone (correctly) points out that the pro-Hamas, anti-Israel rhetoric he routinely defends (like "globalize the intifada") and spouts ("Netanyahu is a genocidal war criminal") is likely contributing to the increasing climate of fear among Jewish people and the rise in antisemitism, not just in New York City but across America.
And yet, without a shred of evidence, he automatically blames Trump for the threat hoaxes in NJ and NYC without bothering to take into account the fact that Democrats and their woketivist allies have led the way in the terroristic acts of violence all over the country, with the violent attacks on ICE/CBP facilities and officers, the firebombing of Tesla locations, the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and the two attempted assassinations of Donald Trump in 2024 being among the many examples.
Polls are open in NJ until 8 pm ET. We'll bring you the results of the gubernatorial race between former New Jersey State Rep. Jack Ciattarelli, the GOP nominee, and his Democrat opponent, Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) at that time, so please make sure to stick around.
Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
