Receipts Get Dropped After JB Pritzker Tells Whopper About His Comparisons of Trump to Hitler

Probably more than any other prospective 2028 presidential candidate, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) has repeatedly made comparisons of President Donald Trump to Hitler and Nazi Germany, with Trump's focus on crime crackdowns and immigration enforcement in cities like Chicago seeming to be the primary catalyst for Pritzker's incendiary claims.

For instance, Pritzker proclaimed in an August interview that "the Nazis tore down the constitutional republic in Germany in the early 1930s. It doesn't take much. And we're seeing pieces of that sort of authoritarian activity happening right now in this country."

Left out of Pritzker's rant, however, was his reign of terror during the COVID-19 pandemic, with him enjoying emergency draconian powers for over three years, while holding himself and his family to a (D)ifferent set of standards than he did the people of Illinois.

Strangely, though Pritzker is keen to invoke the comparisons, when he's asked about them during interviews, he flat out denies it. And, as in the case of a Monday podcast interview he did with MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, his interviewers typically join in on the gaslighting:

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), a week after comparing the USA to Nazi Germany, claimed he has never “suggested Donald Trump is Hitler” during an appearance on MSNBC star Nicolle Wallace’s The Best People podcast on Monday.

Wallace, right after hearing Pritzker’s comment, did not push back. Instead, she added to it, exclaiming “I don’t think any Democrat has” compared the president to Adolf Hitler.

“I think it’s a smear that they project back onto critics,” Wallace said.

While both of them danged well know that's not true, as there are examples dating back 10 years or so of the comparisons being made, we'll focus on Pritzker since he's clearly positioning himself not just as a Resistance leader but a potential leader of the free world.

Here's Exhibit A of Pritzker saying one thing and doing another:

Here's Exhibit B, made the last time Pritzker denied he was comparing Trump to Hitler. Note the many tweet screengrabs included in this clip of Pritzker, in some cases, going even further than he has in his interviews and speeches:

Here's one tweet, from October 2024: "The way Donald Trump praises and romanticizes Hitler is unhinged, disturbing, and disqualifying. He is a dictator-in-waiting. We know exactly what he'll do if he's in power again. It cannot happen."

Back in August 2017, Pritzker participated in the despicable "very fine people" hoax after Charlottesville, tweeting, "This unhinged disgrace to the presidency just openly sympathized with Nazis on national television."

He did it again during then-President Joe Biden's disastrous June 2024 debate against Trump, writing, "When neo Nazis marched on Charlottesville chanting 'Jews will not replace us,' Donald Trump called them very fine people. And now he says it's all a lie. It's not a lie, Donald Trump is just a liar."

Pritzker has denied on several occasions ever equating Trump to Hitler. So just who is the liar here, JB?
