Watch: Raskin Up to Old Tricks After 'No Kings' Protests, but the Facts Don't Care About His Feelings

As RedState reported, the latest round of the "No Kings" demonstrations took place over the weekend. As expected, foolishness was the order of the day, as we saw, for instance, with the "no kings (but more queens)" messaging, which of course undercut the stated rationale for the protests entirely.

And speaking of rationale, there were the interviews with marchers who literally had no idea what and why they were protesting. Further, there were the bizarre scenes of protests in some cities just abruptly ending at specific times, all of which lent credence to the claims that many in attendance were paid to do what they were doing.

In response to the weekend's events, President Trump not only trolled his detractors with king imagery, but he also stated that "I’m not a king. I work my a** off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all." And, as others have observed, an actual king might have been inclined to suppress the protests. Clearly, that didn't happen.

Perhaps more disturbingly, though, were the Antifa flags flown at some of the marches. There were also the "Free Luigi" signs, a reference to Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. There was also the sickening mockery of the attempted assassinations of Trump as well as Charlie Kirk's assassination, the latter of which we saw at a Chicago protest from a woman who reportedly is an elementary school teacher.

Some took it even further, calling for violence against ICE agents, as seen at the Chicago event.

"You gotta grab a gun, we gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system. These ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out," one radical leftist urged.

Needless to say, DHS was not amused:

During the Chicago NO KINGS rally this previous weekend, violent rioters called for the cold-blooded murder of ICE agents.

This rioter, and his statements have been referred to the DOJ.

There is no place in America for psychotic incitements of unlawful violence against ICE or CBP.

To those who threaten violence against us: we will hunt you down, we will find you, and Justice will be served.

Watch (language warning):

Despite all of that, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) proclaimed the protests were "totally positive and totally patriotic."  He went on to say that "this is what a 'love America' movement looks like." Really?

Watch:

While Jamie Raskin is undeniably the king of whoppers, not to mention a serial gaslighter, this is a new low even for him. There was about as much "love" for America in those protests as there was "love" for the conservative Supreme Court justices who faced 24-7 street demonstrations in front of their homes and death threats ahead of Roe v. Wade being overturned in the summer of 2022.

As the Ben Shapiro saying goes, the facts don't care about your feelings, and that is most certainly true in this case.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
