In light of the fresh revelations stemming from the release of the new exposé on Joe Biden, "Original Sin," as well as the recent announcement that the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer, questions are being raised about what those closest to him may have known and if so, when they knew it.
Among those in the hot seat is Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who was Biden's White House physician and who was also referenced in the book as having a discussion with aides about the possibility that Biden would need to use a wheelchair in his last year and a half in office if he suffered another fall.
"Given Biden's age, [his physician Kevin O'Connor] also privately said that if he had another bad fall, a wheelchair might be necessary for what could be a difficult recovery," the authors of the book wrote. The aides allegedly frowned upon the idea because it would, in essence, have confirmed in a critical election year much of what Donald Trump had claimed about Biden's health.

As we reported, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) sent a letter one week ago to former Biden aides as well as O'Connor, requesting they sit down for transcribed interviews as part of their investigation into who knew what and when as questions continue to be raised about the legality of Biden's executive actions while in office.
On Thursday, which was the deadline to respond, O'Connor's attorney contacted the Oversight Committee, according to Newsmax chief Washington correspondent James Rosen:
Sources say Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the personal physician who attested annually to the fitness for office of @JoeBiden, has contacted the @GOPoversight through an attorney to discuss a transcribed interview, ahead of today’s close-of-business deadline and under threat of subpoena. O’Connor was the last of five target witnesses to respond.

The news comes as Comer has cranked up the heat on O'Connor to come clean about what he allegedly knew about Joe Biden's decline:
"We're gonna bring Biden's physician in, because he definitely was not telling the truth about Joe Biden's health ... Even the liberal media wants to know the answers to these questions."@RepJamesComer is bringing in the witnesses, asking tough questions, and getting answers. pic.twitter.com/cdRnpMNm5v

Last July, after Biden's disastrous debate performance, Comer also called on O'Connor to testify on grounds that the doctor may have been improperly influenced to perhaps knowingly withhold the full story:
At issue for Comer is whether O'Connor's medical assessments of Biden have been improperly influenced by his work with the Biden family and the company Americore Health, LLC, along with the president’s brother, James Biden.
The Biden-Harris White House "stalled" attempts to get O'Connor to testify, according to Comer, which, of course, only prompted more questions about his fitness to lead the country - and if O'Connor was being complicit in a cover-up.
As RedState has also reported, according to the "Original Sin" book, the Biden family has a notorious history of trying to hide health issues from the public, with physicians allegedly participating in the deception.
For instance, after Biden's son, Beau, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in the summer of 2013, the Biden family decided to keep it a secret, with the then-vice president "instructing his team to mislead the media about [Beau's] whereabouts."
This included when Beau Biden, who was in his second term as Delaware Attorney General, would fly to other states to get treatments while using a different name. Physicians at the time also reportedly issued fraudulent "clean bill of health" reports about Beau Biden to the public. It was only after Beau Biden's tragic May 2015 passing that the family acknowledged his diagnosis.
So with that likely in mind, which goes along with the Biden family's penchant for covering things up that the public deserves to know, Comer and the Republicans on the committee are undoubtedly loaded for bear. The only question that remains is whether or not any or all of these witnesses will be put under oath, which many are saying needs to happen sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned.
