My colleague Mike Miller reported over the weekend on the sickening ambush shooting that took place in L.A. County on Saturday night in which two sheriff’s deputies were shot by an unknown assailant as they sat in their patrol car.
For those who missed the disturbing video of the crime posted by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Office, watch below:

To make matters worse, there were violent BLM rioters at the hospital the deputies were rushed to who attempted to block the emergency entrances and exits. They also chanted “We hope they die!” and attempted to gain entrance to the hospital.
Former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whose state was the scene of the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake back in August, and the violent riots in Kenosha that followed, took to the Twitter machine on Sunday to express his support for the deputies and to slam Democratic enablers of violence against law enforcement.
He then inquired of vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as to if she plans on visiting or in some way connecting with the seriously injured deputies in her own state as she did with Blake and his family:
This is totally insane.
Pray for the deputies who were shot and pray for sanity in our country! https://t.co/eAJPbaLacK

This is horrific.
Every day and night the good and decent men and women of law enforcement risk their lives to keep us safe. We need to defend, not defund them.
Prayers for these deputies and their families and for all in law enforcement!! https://t.co/b0g5v9IExC

Will @kamalaharris visit deputies who were shot (31-year-old mom & 24 year-old) in her state? She visited someone in WI who was charged with felony 3rd-degree sexual assault and said she was proud of him.
She & @JoeBiden need to side with law enforcement and denounce radicals. https://t.co/b0g5v9IExC

Last week, Harris visited Blake’s family in Wisconsin, and also spoke to Blake himself by phone and told him she was “proud” of him:

As of this writing, Harris has not responded. She did post that she and her husband Doug were keeping the deputies “in our hearts” (but no prayers?) earlier in the day Sunday, though:
Doug and I are keeping the two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in our hearts as they currently fight for their lives after a horrific attack last night. The perpetrator must be brought to justice. https://t.co/ckuRllMtzv

According to the L.A. Times, both deputies – a 31-year-old mom and a 24-year-old man – are out of surgery and are expected to survive. Please continue to keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers, and pray that law enforcement finds the animal who committed these horrific acts.
