A suspect is in custody after shots were fired in the early Tuesday morning hours at an ICE facility in San Antonio, TX. KSAT has the details:

San Antonio police are questioning a man who they have in custody regarding a shooting that left windows shattered on several offices in a Northeast Side building.

Among the offices was one that houses the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division.

[…]

Officers said the ICE office is located on the 14th floor of the high rise.

They were not sure right away from where the shots were fired, or how they reached one of the top floors on one of the tallest buildings in the area.

Police also were not sure whether that office was targeted purposely or if it was hit randomly.

My San Antonio reports that police told them the shots may have been fired “possibly from across Loop 410”:

According to police, shots were fired possibly from across Loop 410, hitting the windows in the building, including the ICE office, officials said.

Per multiple local media reports, the suspect was taken into custody along Village Drive, which is nearby. Fortunately, no one was injured even though there were people in the buildings at the time.

The San Antonio FBI office issued a statement condemning the attacks:

A field office director for ICE was even more direct in his response, suggesting the department believes the attacks were motivated by anti-ICE rhetoric:

Since Democrats and the mainstream media never wait to find out the facts and review available evidence before assigning blame, we anxiously await condemnation from them on this disturbing case, especially from Squad leader Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), who should also be in the middle of drafting an apology statement.

Ocasio-Cortez’s “concentration camp” rhetoric on border detention centers was used by the Antifa terrorist who attempted to kill ICE workers at a Tacoma, WA facility last month. She has yet to condemn that attack, which means by her own standards she condones it.

Her rules and all.
