The White House hammered Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD-8) after the House Judiciary Committee ranking member and fellow Democrats unveiled legislation to create a 17-member commission of physicians, psychiatrists, and former executive officials to evaluate President Trump’s mental and physical capacity to serve under the 25th Amendment.
They really, really want you to forget that we are less than two years removed from the party wanting you to believe that Joe Biden, whose grey matter had been predominantly replaced by porridge at that point, was perfectly capable of serving another four years in the Oval Office.
Trump, on the other hand, is unfit for duty. Why? If you ask Raskin, it's because he threatened the terrorist regime of Iran, conducted the most effective military operation the world has ever seen, oh, and because he posted a silly meme.
(Don't even get me started on that one. Catholic nuns are being threatened with jail time in New York because they refuse to use made-up pronouns, and we've now seen evidence that the previous DOJ explicitly weaponized federal law against pro-life activists, but I'm supposed to be uber-mad that the guy who posts provocative memes on a daily basis posted something a little off-color. Please. He took it down. He explained himself. Get your head back in the game.)
Anyway, back to Raskin's imbecilic move.
"We have a solemn duty to play our defined role under the 25th Amendment by setting up this body to act alongside the Vice President and the Cabinet," Raskin said in a statement explaining why he wants to create the panel.
"Public trust in Donald Trump’s ability to meet the duties of his office has dropped to unprecedented lows as he threatens to destroy entire civilizations, unleashes chaos in the Middle East while violating Congressional war powers, aggressively insults the Pope of the Catholic Church, and sends out artistic renderings online likening himself to Jesus Christ."
It's the third time Raskin has tried using the 25th to remove Trump from office, demonstrating once again that over a span of nearly a decade, the Democrat party has remained consistently devoid of any ideas to help the American people, and their lone goal in life is to remove a President elected by the American people. They're totally defenders of democracy ... or something.

The White House was not amused by Raskin's stunt.
"Lightweight Jamie Raskin is a stupid person’s idea of a smart person," White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital. "President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the last administration, when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people."
Indeed. The proposal comes from the same congressman who, just months before President Biden’s disastrous 2024 debate performance, praised Biden for being “completely lucid, funny, interactive and dynamic” and having “regaled" everyone with his intellect during a private Democratic retreat.
“I just spent an hour with President Biden and the entire Democratic caucus, where he regaled and entertained everyone,” Raskin told CNN in February of 2024.
Raskin was responding to a special counsel report by Robert Hur, which described Biden as an "elderly man with a poor memory," and which yielded a transcript revealing that the then-President frequently confused dates, countries, and the sequence of significant events, such as when his son Beau passed away, and when Donald Trump was elected.
Then there was this — From "completely lucid" to "we finally beat Medicare" in just a few months' time.

By the way, neither the disastrous presidential debate performance nor the Hur report was enough to sway Raskin the way Trump's Jesus meme has. He didn't feel compelled to immediately use the 25th Amendment to usher Biden out the door at all.
Raskin is such a ridiculous fraud, promoting conspiracies such as the Russia collusion hoax, the J6 peaceful protest hoax, and now, the Trump is unfit to serve hoax. If he's seeking to find someone unfit to serve, Raskin may want to look at the man he sees in the mirror.
